  1. @DangerBoy I'm hoping you are right. I'm currently on a 67 Senate 2011. The ski chart recommended 67 for my weight at 34 so I guess I'll trust the guide and plan on not losing any weight.
  2. I ordered mine. Hoping I got the right size. I'm 170 and ski at 30 mph right now hoping to be at 34 mph by the end of next season. I went with the 67.
  3. Thanks everyone for the input. I've had a few members contact me and offer to help me get plugged in a little bit. It seems to be a real great community here @bigskieridaho if I'm in Idaho anytime soon ill let you know, my wife is itching to move up that way. Her best friend is in the Coeur de alene (sp?) area and brother is in Caldwell. @skialex I'm sure a brand new ski boat would help my chances haha I went to the California pro am at bell acqua last month to spectate and was surprised at how few people were there. I'm hoping to make it out to the mastercraft tournament and maybe meet some new faces. heres the boat when I picked it up. alt="" /> and after some tlc
  4. I'm in citrus heights ca. I have mostly been skiing Folsom lake, both north fork and south fork. Drove up to lake clementine yesterday and checked it out. Haven't yet been on the Sacramento river but would like to check it out. I would also like to find a lake that has a course on it but all I could find was berryesa as the closest. looks like that folsom watersports club is pretty dried up
  5. I'm new to the sport of slalom and purchased a boat this year ( 85 mastercraft) . I figured finding people to ski with would be easy but it seems like I can hardly find people to ski with or have a spotter when I want to go.( my odd hours I sometimes work don't seem to help) I've looked into ski club memberships but the prices are a little steep. Is there any resource for finding local skiers who free ski the local lakes ? Or is it one of those things where you just hope to run into like minded people? (people willing to wake up early to ski good water) I'm in the sacramento area and know I'm surrounded by private ski lakes but they seem to be elite secret societies. Any help?
