  1. So, I brought it home.overall in good shape. Definitely needs a little love. Took it out tonight fora quick ski tonight before I drop it off at the shop to get the issues address. All I can say is ?.
  2. Thanks for all the feedback. We’ll see how The test drive goes Sunday.
  3. I am super excited. I finally made it work to buy a 97-99 nautique. It seems like everyone raves about these boats. Is there anything particular to these boats that I should look for prior to completing the purchase? It has a GT 40. Regular maintenance has been performed. I won’t be able to do a compression test. It has approximately 900 hours. There is a link to a video of the boat below. I know the trailer looks a little rough, but it should be in the water except for winter time. Thanks
  4. I have to agree with the comments about the Harbormaster lift. I have owned 2, and they have been great. I think they are a better option than a true cantilever lift. I you add a motor, I definitely agree with a 24 volt set up. My lift tech has worked great. I did recently purchase a craftlander lift for my ski boat. For the the money they seem like a very solid lift with a very easy crank mechanism. There are more cables to maintain. If you are in West Michigan, I am selling this due to moving for $625. It is a 3500/108. No canopy, but that could be added.
  5. Went to a new home today. Hopefully, I will get to look for another one once we get settled. Good luck to Mike and his family. I hope you enjoy it.
  6. Here are some additional pictures. No perfect pass. Has the carbureted 351 Windsor engine. I am not sure if it has the power slot transmission.
  7. I am moving and logistically it just does not make sense to keep this. Overall good boat. Expected vinyl issue with the back seat, but otherwise good condition. Engine runs great. Slightly over 780 hours. Has a barefoot boom.
  8. You must be proud, but darn kids and there growing up. Where in western NC. I am moving to Morganton and hope to end up on Lake James. It would be great to find people to ski with and boat with in general.
  9. Ckrueg. If your interested in the 91 prostar, I would sell you that and go get the echelon.
  10. Sorry, I was just trying to make a joke. Obviously, not a good one. I definitely would not leave anything in place without proper permits. I sounds like a portable one is the way to go. What is the advantage of the accu course vs the ez? I have also seen a compact ez.
  11. I find that it is always easier to ask for forgiveness, than permission
  12. I am considering investing in a course next spring. I live on a public lake, so I am thinking that a portable one may make more sense. What are the advantages/disadvantages of the portable courses when compared to the permanent? If it gets used frequently and I can work through any local restrictions, can a portable course be left in for long periods of time? What portable course would you recommend?
  13. I am looking at a job near Lake James. Just wondering what the opinions are of the lake. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I currently live on water and would like to continue that if we move that direction.
  14. +1 for HIIT training. As I age this seems to be very effective for maintaining fitness without getting injured. I am currently working through some of the Athlean programs. I like that the workouts are different everyday.
  15. skifrk and Ckrueg. I am always looking for people to ski with. We don't have a coarse, but Mona is a great water sports lake. PM me. We still may be able to get out this year if the good weather continues.
  16. Took it out quick tonight. Very nice.
  17. So it's coming home. Overall seemed pretty solid. What are the recommendations for the best set up from a waterskiing standpoint. It has a stand or three blade prop on it.
  18. Ckrueg- I am out in Muskegon on Mona Lake. I grew up in Rockford. Where are you in GR?
  19. I appreciate all the input. I am planning on picking the 91 up on Friday as long as it water tests ok. Any specific things I should be looking for?
  20. Do you think 7000 is a reasonable price for the 91?
  21. Kids are 10 and 7. Unfortunately the boats are several hours away and not near one another. I would rather have a planned deal prior to traveling. The boat would primarily be for early morning slalom runs. Everything with the kids would be from the dock. The kids are already getting up surfing (I know four letter word hear). I am just hoping to expand their horizons. How does the 91 compare to the 96 I have been behind? Sounds like I should get over nostalgia.
  22. I know and I really like blue boats. That is what makes this more challenging.
