  1. @Jody_Seal, how do you get the eyelets in the sides? I've had 2 pair of Radars blow out the same way. On my 4th set and if they blow I'm going to Reflex. Love the Radars but can't keep buying binders and only getting a couple seasons on them. I am now taking my liners out and letting them and the boots dry thoroughly, then putting the liners back in by hand as gentle as possible.
  2. I had the same issue with 2 pairs of binders. I rigged them up and was able to keep going on them but decided to let Radar know about that area being a problem. They were great on the customer service and took care of me. I wasn't asking for anything, only trying to bring that problem area to their attention. Love these binders.
  3. I'll throw a dime into the mix instead of 2 cents fwiw. Maybe the 1st skier who ran 41 yesterday jazzed everyone else up letting them know 41 was possible and this in turn upped all the other skiers confidence and aggressiveness to run it. Seeing that line run had to be hella exciting and got everyone fired up. Just throwing this thought out there. But I tend to agree if Horton posted it on good authority the skiers themselves said something was wrong, maybe it was.
  4. As I've said before on other threads, you will NOT be disappointed booking time with Adam. My skiing has already improved dramatically for me utilizing Adams techniques and equipment. I don't think I've ever been this excited for ski season (which is saying alot) to get out there every chance possible and run buoys. I feel like every opportunity on the water is a chance for a another break through in learning something to take me a little further down the line. Adam... I can't thank you enough!
  5. I would say you answered your own question. The MOB system. I'm on Radars and in the process of modifying my rear boot to allow more movement, or feel like a rtp. So far I'm liking the results. Again a little at a time and seeing how each mod feels. I also like supporting those in our sport who aren't the industry giants and just trying to help it along.
  6. @Murrski

Exactly what you said "I feel like once the boat/skier speed is near equal and I then reach and turn in - that I feel separated (elbows out/away from ribs) and battle that separation to CL." You are seperated and its hold on time from here on out. This gate keeps you connected to a nice tight line the whole time if your timing is right.... not always easy to do. I am an average at best skier, 28-32 @ 34 mph, 35 on a real good day. Using this gate and some other body positions from Adam I truly feel like I will run deeper into 38 if not the pass this summer. You have to find your timing. I pull out about a boat length maybe more before the 55s and glide up on the boat. The handle comes to my side and vertical. Then I watch for the boat to "leave " me or begin pulling away. I wait until I feel the boat starting to pull the handle and then I start to reach toward the pylon. Slowly build into stack @ CL.

Hope this helps. It doesn't always come together but this is my goal and when I do it right the handle stays tight at the buoy line and the pass feels great. Its a real confidence booster knowing you will have a nice tight line the whole pass if you don't do something stupid like over skiing it.

If you really want to improve your skiing I suggest a trip to Trophy. You won't regret it.

  7. My sentiments exactly. Adam is above and beyond. I believe he is on the edge of something great and if people will listen and keep an open mind they will find themselves skiing pb's. I'm a crappy skier at best and the weekend we spent with Adam i feel like i will run 38 this season. The 2 guys (myself included) I took down there to pick up my new ski learned way more in the 2 days there than the whole time I've been skiing.
  8. I have an 04 Malibu LXI. I'm looking to upgrade my PP 6.4 version to Z-box. Wondering if anyone might happen to have one lying around they want to get rid of. Enjoy the threads and great advice given on here. Come on summer!!!
