  1. The Chile Waterski Federation (Federación de Esquí Náutico de Chile) has a live stream on their facebook page. This link should work: https://www.facebook.com/esquinauticochile/videos/209653646596932/?__tn__=%2Cdk%2CP-R&eid=ARD17RLkZmP73YbKfDFrYxrKqAsVHkDX84BqOd4Nie5j99vdRgWlFoE7dlm85gs-kSlM-fwWXaBVMPj3
  2. Does the Radar bag have room for a slalom and a trick ski?
  3. I haven't done much "testing" with it, but I do know I skied better when I moved my RTP about 1/4" closer to my front boot.
  4. I am currently skiing collegiate, and to add to the rest, it has been the BEST decision of my life. No regrets ever. I have made life-long friends, not only just in college, but in the non-collegiate side of the sport as well. This sport and opportunity has blessed me beyond belief.
  5. Saw him after the crash, his face was beat up, as you can imagine.
  6. Incredible win and performance. I witnessed Taylor Garcia secure the #1 spot with his 2nd jump of 186.
  7. That front binding looks like a modified snow ski boot... It's obviously working!
  8. I use a 13" (wide), but definitely a personal preference. I dock-started a record slalom tournament and noticed a WIDE variety of handles among the top skiers. There was little to no trend in the handles as each was very unique to the skier, almost all were different combinations of length / diameter.
  9. In my experience, our team has about 3-5 greek skiers every year, and they seem to REALLY enjoy the sport/experience, and usually make time to ski and go to tournaments. There is always that one or two that would rather go to something greek, but as a whole, they're usually at tournaments unless they have a mandatory something else to attend. Tournaments are REALLY fun, and once they figure that out, they are hooked.
  10. my ski was pointing toward the boat and my face was pointing away from the boat.
  11. Skied behind one many times this summer. Didn't notice much about slalom, but I did find the trick wakes very nice at 25% ballast.
  12. Awesome thread. I myself am still in those early stages of this wonderful sport and its sick to be able to see and relate to the same process.
  13. From what I remember, a really nice lean-lock got me to here.
  14. Really awesome perspectives of video there... I have a friend who races that same type of drone, never would have thought of the footage it could get of some skiing. I have a DJI mavic I film skiing with, I might have to look further into this one...
  15. I'm an intermediate skier (working on consistency at 36mph/15off), and on a 67" 2017 HO CX for well over a year now. I've changed the fin settings only once from factory with the advice from an advanced skier. What I feel is the ski is riding very deep, with little to no "slide" going around the buoy. I'm never the one to blame my ski for bad skiing, I just want to see if I can get a different feel from the ski in the course. Question: Would it be better to go back to factory? or try different non-factory settings. Thanks. Any and all suggestions are appreciated! Factory: (6.860) (2.510) (0.775) 7 Current: (6.883) (2.500) (0.800) 7
  16. T-factor is an great choice. Gives me an excellent feel of connection to the ski. I've skied the T-factor quite some time and I love it. Surprisingly comfortable for a rubber style boot.
