  1. @moksh Performance Ski and Surf doesn't have an 'official demo program' but they'll work with you. I did the same thing when I was looking for a new ski a few years ago. Give them a call.
  2. @6ball I now feel like such a wimp after hearing all that you've gone through / you're going through. I get so frustrated and run down dealing with what I've got going on. I don't know what to say. I hope things improve for you. It's a shame such a cool sport is so brutal to our bodies.
  3. @6balls Have you gone to a chiropractor that has one of these? I'm currently fixing 20 - 25 years of back problems and this machine is amazing. It's not cheap but well worth it to feel better and get rid of sciatica and lower back pain. https://www.hilldtsolutions.com/spinal-decompression-table
  4. They all look awesome to me. Honolulu was a cool place to ski and Hilltop in WA are cool spots. Many others I haven't skied but would like to.
  5. Masterline K Palm Curves and the HO 41 tail are decent. Haven't tried anything else in a long time though.
  6. I wish I could say I had the same experience. Ordered a new rope June 7, 2017 and skied until Sept 5, 2017. Free skied 6 times this spring and the loop for 35 and 39 pulled through so they were unusable. This was her response after seeing pics: I couldn't really tell what was wrong with it in the picture. I just read your email again, "the loop for 35’off pulled through so that I can’t use it" Rope doesn't just screw up by itself and I've never had a loop "pulled through" before. Maybe you caught it on a buoy or something? Regardless, it is a year old so your warranty is up anyway. I'm shipping tomorrow and could ship you a slalom mainline via Priority Mail which means you'd get it on Monday or Tuesday. If you want to go that route, please order online at www.intowonline.com. $90 for less than 3 months of use. Purchased a Masterline instead.
  7. I have the 2017 version and left it at stock settings. Best ski I've ever used in 25+ years of skiing. Great design @chrisrossi
  8. Nautique uses a shrinkwrap to deliver to dealers and the same can be done by your dealer (minus the Nautique logo on it). They're shrink wrapped without any poles and done to the water line. Sometimes they don't have a vent for transport so if that's how your dealer does it, make sure you remove the cover as soon as you get it.
  9. Generally it's LFF = Right palm up and vice versa but I've also seen guys run into 41' off who were RFF and Right palm up. To me, it's all about what feels comfortable for you. Not many of us are going to make a living at this sport so it's all about what feels best and not what's 'the norm'. I ski LFF but I snowboard and used to skateboard RFF. That being said, I can snowboard LFF too but it's not my primary stance.
