The 4th Annual Kim’s Water Ski Classic was a smashing success. We had 19 skiers take part. Conditions were fantastic and we all had a fabulous time. I want to thank my friends for helping me pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you. @Mastercrafter thank you for the use of your ProStar. @MISkier thank you for driving. And for driving me to my best pass of the season so far. @DaveD for your donation of raffle items. @Sedge for the SLines Ropes, handle and KD junior combo skis that we raffled off. @PSM for the donation of ProGear Gloves and PureFood protein powder. @Horton for running my ads for this event year after year. As a woman in the "crap I'm getting old segment", I can attest to the fact that the slow speeds behind the Malibu are painful. Having skiing too many times to count at 24.9 mph that wake is large, even larger when there is more than 1 person in the boat. The wake is more tolerable at 26.7, better at 28.6 and getting very nice at 30.2. The Mastercraft on the other hand was more tolerable at those slow speeds and the bump over the wakes was smaller than the Malibu was.

Blue on one side, with silver and blue fleck on the other to coordinate with my 2020 vapor and the light blue vest I just purchased. 🙂

Lol. He does that all on his own. However of note is that anytime you mentioned the movie at TopGun (which is in Fallon NV) you were fined $25.. He threatened to disown me if I didn’t see the new TopGun Maverick..🤷‍♀️

I skied Tahoe years ago with my brother when he was still at TopGun as an instructor. Tahoe was a lot of fun.

I actually just got back from Colorado with my daughter. Used my miles to fly free and skied with another water ski friend of mine. Only was out there for the weekend and my friend Sandy got us ski with a buddy ticket prices. So two days of skiing still wouldn't have make the purchase of a pass worth it. But it was a great trip and my daughters first time out west.

I'm glad I didn't invest in an Ikon or Epic pass this year, I would not have gotten my money's worth, at all. Come on Spring!

@VONMAN , early in the season @Mastercrafter and I agreed that it was a good thing our club didn't charge by the set, we would be priced out. I don't know my total sets but it for sure exceeds @Mastercrafter 's . :#

@MISkier @braindamage yes there was a course on long lake 2 years ago. It’s against the side of the 3rd island. I didn’t ski that course. I hooked up with @34mph and he pulled me on a smaller lake near long lake as I was practicing for states
