  1. Just ordered my 2018 Tour Red 67" D3 EVO from @perfski :-) Great customer service. Spoke with Bill.

    Here is your winner!! :-)
  3. Thank you for the advice! I am not finding the EVO for $750 less than the "S". Where can I find it? I'm looking for 67" Tour Red. I'm also going with T-Factor front and backs.
  4. I've been researching skis and just read @Horton 2018 review of the EVO. Great review, John! I am about ready to pull the trigger on a 67" EVO. I consider myself to be an "aggressive open water skier". Unfortunately, I can't make a course happen on my lake. At any rate, I am 6'2" and 175 lbs. My question is, how does the EVO-S compare (in real life) to the EVO. I've read the marketing material, but I truly can't tell which would be a better fit for me. How does the EVO-S compare to the EVO for a skier like me? I suppose I can do a trial on both and it will only cost me $70 for shipping, but I'd like to know if I should even bother with the EVO-S. Thanks in advance for your advice!
  5. @swc5150 Thanks again for measuring, Scott! Can't wait to pick her up! Not sure I'm going to get much sleep between now and Saturday. :-)
  6. @swc5150 Holy Moly, that's tight! LOL . As long as you can close the door, you're good to go. Thanks a ton for measuring for me. I appreciate it.
  7. Hello. I am bringing my new (to me) boat and trailer home this weekend. I'd like to find out the exact length of the rig minus swim platform. It's a '17 ProStar sitting on a factory trailer with swivel tongue. Is that dimension readily available? Thanks in advance for your help.
  8. @skiinxs I'm signed up for the event at Waters Edge in Wilmington, IL. St. Louis is a little too far of a drive for the weekend. Is anyone else here planning to attend the Wilmington event?
  9. @ShererSkier Good idea. Let's get the thread going when we get a little closer to Summer @PacMan There's a boat under all that snow???
  10. @swc5150 @epnault ...added to the sticky note. ;-)
  11. @tjs1295 Tim - I added you to the list. Here is a pic of my grill that I took last weekend. I think you're right. No skiing this week. LOL
  12. @UWSkier Adding you to the list. So far, we have you, @ShererSkier , @jhughes , @Jetsetr , and @swc5150 What lake are you on?
  13. @klindy Yikes. If you gave up snowmobiling, I can understand why. Those are some crazy conditions. I'm well over 10,000 miles on a snowmobile in the Wisconsin Northwoods (almost 2,000 miles in the last 10 weeks) and haven't experienced what you describe. With that said, it's a risky sport for sure. My wife and I got out of it while raising our son and are now back into it since he fledged the nest. We ride during the daytime hours before most of the hot dogs and drunks hit the trails. This approach reduces risk significantly.
  14. @ShererSkier Sounds good. Let's all stay in contact throughout the Summer. Could be some good ski times in the making.
  15. @wtstapel This is really interesting. Thank you for sharing.
  16. @Jetsetr @jhughes @swc5150 That sounds great to me. Let's try to set something up once we're a little closer to the water being in liquid form. ;-)
  17. @swc5150 Mine is a '17 ProStar with only 45 hours. LOL
  18. @swc5150 Maybe we could get a few of us together to make something happen. It could be a blast. I plan to be up there a lot this summer. Looking forward to putting some serious hours on my new ProStar. Here is a link to the Wisconsin process for officially establishing a course. https://dnr.wi.gov/topic/boat/slalomBuoys.html
  19. @jhughes and @swc5150 You are both spot-on about the Northwoods. I'd be happy to help put something together up there if you guys are in.
  20. @Jetsetr always good to meet another sledder! My wife and I are into it big time. We just passed 2,000 miles for the year and 5,000 miles on our 3-year old sleds. Time to trade them in! So, the $1,000,000 question is do you ride Arctic Cat, Ski Doo, Polaris, or Yamaha? I ride an AC ZR6000 Limited. My wife rides a Polaris 600 Rush Pro-S. This is what my backyard looks like right now. CRAZY snow this year. Love it, but now it's time to melt so I can put my ProStar in the water. :-)
  21. @Jetsetr We're on Lost Lake in St. Germain. It's an amazing place. @klindy Keith - Thanks for all the info. This is great. This law is most certainly going to result in a major increase in my ski time this summer. I'm so pumped.
  22. @Jetsetr You are spot-on. In our case, we have a 540 acre lake that is totally empty most days. Nearly every time I go out, my wife will not have a single other boat to contend with. On a "busy" day, there may be a few.
  23. @skiinxs LOL. Good to hear! Hey, you have great taste in colors. Looks somewhat familiar.
