  1. I've been researching skis and just read @Horton 2018 review of the EVO. Great review, John! I am about ready to pull the trigger on a 67" EVO. I consider myself to be an "aggressive open water skier". Unfortunately, I can't make a course happen on my lake. At any rate, I am 6'2" and 175 lbs. My question is, how does the EVO-S compare (in real life) to the EVO. I've read the marketing material, but I truly can't tell which would be a better fit for me. How does the EVO-S compare to the EVO for a skier like me? I suppose I can do a trial on both and it will only cost me $70 for shipping, but I'd like to know if I should even bother with the EVO-S. Thanks in advance for your advice!
  2. Hello. I am bringing my new (to me) boat and trailer home this weekend. I'd like to find out the exact length of the rig minus swim platform. It's a '17 ProStar sitting on a factory trailer with swivel tongue. Is that dimension readily available? Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. @klindy Yikes. If you gave up snowmobiling, I can understand why. Those are some crazy conditions. I'm well over 10,000 miles on a snowmobile in the Wisconsin Northwoods (almost 2,000 miles in the last 10 weeks) and haven't experienced what you describe. With that said, it's a risky sport for sure. My wife and I got out of it while raising our son and are now back into it since he fledged the nest. We ride during the daytime hours before most of the hot dogs and drunks hit the trails. This approach reduces risk significantly.
  4. @Jetsetr always good to meet another sledder! My wife and I are into it big time. We just passed 2,000 miles for the year and 5,000 miles on our 3-year old sleds. Time to trade them in! So, the $1,000,000 question is do you ride Arctic Cat, Ski Doo, Polaris, or Yamaha? I ride an AC ZR6000 Limited. My wife rides a Polaris 600 Rush Pro-S. This is what my backyard looks like right now. CRAZY snow this year. Love it, but now it's time to melt so I can put my ProStar in the water. :-) l3av0b3ismyt.png
