  1. I've worked in a pro shop for ~4 years (not anymore) and I saw radar products come back less than any other brand we sold. Rare that I had a warranty claim from them, and even if something wasn't in warranty they were frequently willing to help correct the issue. I have a rear 2014/2015 vector that I'm still using with no issues as well.
  2. Biggest single trick I've been told is to touch the handle onto your front boot. Hold it until you're coming up out of the water. Rarely miss a start on any type of ski now.
  3. @Cnewbert The difference between MSRP and actual price chops a good bit off, plus the inflation from '18 to '19 is ~2.5% so it's really a negligible bump in price.
  4. @Booze Couldn't agree more. Have had some people at the shop I worked at try a Pro Build or a Syndicate Pro or whatever else, hated one but loved the other. All about finding a good match to how you ski.
  5. As long as it's well clear of a Nautique
  6. @Horton The boat definitely looks nice, can't wait to see what you think of it. @Roger I think the quick idle is just because it was warmed up already from running it around the lake. Still idles pretty quickly from cold though in my somewhat limited experience.
  7. If anything I'd try talking to a dealer and seeing if they'd like to provide a boat. Not sure of any skiers up there but I have seen a couple older ski boats and a few new Malibus up in Houghton.
  8. Hate to put a non-answer in, but it depends on the boat. Some ProStars look awful with teak, some look great. In Teak's favor: Floats (rare that this matters), easily repaired if damaged. In glass' favor: No maintenance, foam/seadek easily changed if damaged. Everything else is preference on looks.
  9. Never heard anything negative about LeadWake. A few people I know just put their disassembled booms inside the boat for ballast (Usually just to counterweight the driver, not for tricking).
