  1. Just because Rodgers painted over his Goode at one point does not make it his own ski.
  2. The Omni is one of the best skis out there for most people in the course up through 32' off in my opinion. It is easy to get up on, easy to accelerate, and flows through the turns. If you are running 35' off or shorter then the Pro/Alpha/Omega might be better if you stay with HO but so many nice shortline skis to choose from including the Denali.
  3. I have also tried Masterline and In Tow, I also prefer In Tow handles. :)
  4. Would be great if @Chad_Scott would chime in on his side of the story at some appropriate point in time.
  5. Up through what age can use the jr rope?
  6. In Tow is the way to go! Spectra rope (color of your choice) and cross bar for safety!
  7. I have heard that the 2020 likes a long and shallow fin setting, also hearing a few on the 2019 that have tried the 2020 are keeping their 2019.
  8. The 6.0 or 6.2 is the only way to go these days at high elevation due to the wider/heavier ski boats the manufactures are making. Bring back the Carbon Pro!
  9. @dbaconaz go to the Arizona tournaments and ask around, I think you will find some people to ski with on those private lakes. You can buy a lot right now at Spring Mountain for around $100k but water is expensive is AZ so the HOA fees are high. I know Dave Buchli at Buchli Ski Lake will pull people for a per set fee.
  10. @OscawanaSkier Thanks for the detailed post. This is something Malibu should have fixed by 2018 and warrantied!
  11. I generally agree with @Horton to a point, once you can get up on a slalom ski and run the full course at 28.6mph ish buy the best high end slalom ski you can afford. When first learning to get up on a slalom ski and first learning to run the course a wider ski is the way to go.
  12. The OMNI is for sure a course ski! At 35' and shorter other options like the Pro/Alpha/Omega "might" be better. There is a reason new Omega went in the OMNI direction with a wider tail and less concave.
  13. In the first pic of Nate's gates was that his 39' or 35'?
  14. @OscawanaSkier I'm sure several on this forum including me would love to hear how you solved the IAT issue.
  15. @TheBigHead is sounds like your issue is NOT the more common know issue with the 6.0 PCM in the Malibu Response, the know issue is the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) tends to warm to the point where the ECM impedes the engine timing leading to power loss. This know issue (not a issue on all 2017-2019 Response's) has not been addresses by Malibu or PCM since the new Response came out in 2017!
  16. If the difficult conditions were the same for everyone that would be fine but when you introduce random rollers into the equation it creates a unfair situation. We all know that a roller at the finish of a slalom turn is not the same as one behind the boat in our lean.
  17. @savaiusini Which ski is Will Asher, @CParrish43, and Jonathan Travers on?
  18. Here is the SIA link http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?endless=summer&topic=Search&category=Boat_3Event&postid=51679 Sweet looking boat!
  19. Sounds like a trip to Utah is in order.
  20. Thanks @mbabiash for the tip, I reached out to @ScotChipman1 and he was very helpful and insightful. Sounds like I need to be careful if I bring up surface area numbers on this site.
  21. Does anyone know how many square inches the Goode XTW is?
  22. Wow, I like all of these color combinations and now really like the new design.
  23. Wow, I'm new to this forum and surprised of all of the negative comments towards Goode. If this is how we treat people and companies that support us no wonder we are having trouble growing the sport. Goode has been a big supporter of water skiing for many years, always innovating to push the sport forward. The first Goode 9100 was a true game changer by all accounts, took others 10+ years to catch back up. Who knows if this new carbon fiber core is a game changer but kudos for the continued innovation. I agree the price is way up there, the free market economy will ultimately decide what it is worth.
  24. Thanks @brooks. Seems like very small changes. Did the weight recommendations range for the different lengths change or stay the same?
