  1. 3 boys from 12-14, all starting in the water with 1 Ski with ease and carving better then I ever thought for the half dozen days of Sl skiing. All are using the Radar TRA in the 55 and I'm pulling them on a Seadoo GTR 215 which seems to work quite well for all being rookies. No one really at our lake knows a ton about SL skiing so I'm curious on what the next steps are to getting them prepared for trying a course, if we can get the course going in the coming weeks (see post from 5 minutes earlier)? Currently speed is around the 27-30mph (hard to keep consistent on a Seadoo) and will be buying a ski rope this week (currently using a wakeboard rope) but looking for insight on what videos or techniques will help them improve and me to coach? No major spray yet but all of the kids are aggressively cutting and linking turns. Appreciate the suggestions!
  2. Owner of the course moved away 5 years ago and we found out last night he left the course in the lake but sold the buoys. Not knowing anything about ski courses, but as of this summer we now have 3 kids (11 - 13) all skiing SL so we are excited on getting the course up and running again. The question is we have no idea whats needed or how to even find the course. All we know is the course has both Jr and Sr layouts and we are stoked on getting it back up and working. Assuming the course is under 10' of pretty clear water but over the years the sand bottom has probably consumed the where about's. Any insight would be appreciated. The lake is in Northern Saskatchewan with only 50 cabins and from the sounds of it the owner who left it in the water was the only one who used it.......
