  1. Currently, we are having some troubles with our team boat. The boat is a 2014 Mastercraft Prostar. The issue arises when we put the boat in gear and begin to accelerate. The boat does not accelerate as quickly as it did before. It is a slow acceleration that almost feels governed. Also, the RPMs will not exceed 3300. It struggles/fails to get up to speed before the course when skiing at 34/36. We just changed the oil on the boat. There are no active faults or errors shown. After some thought, we have concluded that it may be the fuel filter. If anyone has any ideas, please let us know. Thank you.
  2. The University of Texas collegiate water ski team has three days left in our fundraiser! We are trying to raise $8000, which will go towards hosting a tournament in the fall, traveling to other South Central regional tournaments, and replacing old ski equipment with newer, safer options as we increase the number of new people we bring into this sport. If we raise enough money, we may look at buying a new boat for the team. We appreciate all support in reaching these goals! Donate at this link: https://hornraiser.utexas.edu/project/36363
  3. Collegiate Team here. Our beginner jump skis take quite a lot of abuse and we’ve ripped the side wall off of half of one side of the ski. What is the best way to go about repairing them? I’ve heard epoxy, but what type would be best? We’ve started looking for new skis, but obviously it’s cheaper to repair jump skis.
