  1. The Wiley is about 20mm off and the last hole is partially covered by the horseshoe. But that would only give me 6mm anyway
  2. I cant get my Wiley enough back for the right location. The insert placement of the ski wont let me. I have a FM EVO hardshell that can be positioned right. Can I use that binding for tricks? I will only do hand tricks and as I understand you don`t want the binding to release.....or?
  3. Just bought a 44" Reflex trick ski. Got a Wiley Pro binding to use for it. At what distance from back edge would you place the binding? I am a complete beginner. Thanks Johan
  4. That is the only thing I dislike about D3 skis. Bindings only ride on top of these small surfaces instead of restng/ get sucked down to the ski surface. My front is ok but I have 3d printed inserts in my rtp that prevents sliding sideways.
  5. @mbabiash The Platinum I had was one of the best ski Ive ever ridden. Regret selling it actually. The materials used and the build quality was top notch. I believe it is the case with the Titanium also
  6. Yes but it is carbon fiber. I had a 2019 Platinum and you could see the fiber if you looked closely?
  7. Ok thanks :) . @skierjp Would you say black cuff with top buckle a little looser is equivalent with the white cuff in feeling? As I recall I tightened all buckles quite hard when I used the black boot.
  8. I currently ski on the T-factor and love the binding , but I have had some falls where I didn`t release properly and hurt my ankle. The reason I look at the Reflex binding is for SAFETY only, not performance. I have tried the Reflex black binding twice but felt limited in movement front/back and couldn`t ski as fluid as in the T-factor. I went back to the T-factor but I always ski with a little feeling of fear for not releasing in a fall. This season I think I will try to give the Reflex a new try and will go for the "slalom" (white cuff) since it seems better in front/back movement and closer to the rubber binding in that perspective. I hope starting the season on Reflex (not changeing mid season) can help as well. Thanks Johan
  9. Reflex now call the black shell "Classic trick" and the one with the flexion brake (formerly white cuff) they call "Classic slalom". Which one would you recommend for slalom and why?
  10. Sorry 3mm. https://www.joom.com/sv/products/60794296bf9d9c017ac86c4c
  11. I use gloves for windsurfing early spring....6-8°C. Made of 2mm neoprene. Works great
  12. Has Regina run 41??? I think Nate has!!!
  13. @Horton Your first impression in one or two words?
  14. Super interesting. Been looking at Reflex with curiosity for a while. Mostly since I`ve never seen one nor haven`t spoken to someone who owns a Reflex ski. The Nirvana seems to be the most user friendly one and Zen Origin the racecar.
  15. There might be no reinforcement in the ski for the insert in a new location. Can you make an adapter plate?
  16. Anyone skiing on one of the skis in the current Reflex lineup? Zen Origin, Nirvana, Nirvana Plus. If yes, what can you say about them?

  18. Everything on the ski is stock. I will also say that it is probably the best ski I`ve ever had. I can ski very consistent if I ski the way I`ve always skied. But then my limit will always be 2@12/55. I want to take the next step so this season I have been trying to rework my fundamentals. Stand taller, stacked position, stay better connected, balanced over the ski in turns, work on vision etc. This have changed my consistensy. I have tied my PB but I have also missed my opener which I never did before. I try to work on one thing at a time to not get confused but the progress is very slow. I noticed that more companies make wider variations of their skis. Reflex Nirvana/Nirvana+, HO Omega/Omega Max, Goode XTR/XTR Wide etc. So my thought was: Can a wider ski be helpful when working on proper fundamentals? Is it a better platform than conventional skis for that purpose?
  19. @ral I am 183cm and 82kg so 67" would be my size. I tried to post a MP4 video but it was not the right format (what is the right format?) I know it is more time in the gym and more time on the water that is the ticket. I know exactly in theory what to do to make it happen. It is just hard to change what the body has done by automatic for 25 years :) . Was just curious if anyone thought that a wider ski could make a more stable platform to work from.
  20. I am on a 67" D3 Ion and i am skiing mostly 55k. PB 2@12/55. I really like the ski when I ski well but I have a hard time progressing because I feel like my position on the ski varies a lot. Sometimes everything feels so easy and balanced, but most of the time I struggle with inconsistent body position, mostly in the turns. Can a wider ski help me keeping my body balanced over the ski more consistently? I have looked at the Reflex Nirvana Plus and the HO Omega Max
