  1. @6balls. Thanks but looking for feedback w the 6 liter. I was surprised to hear a boat w almost 400 horse and all that Torque would struggle to hit 38 w barefooter in tow. 20 year old versions w 5.7 liter motors could pull multiple bf skiers in excess of 40 easily. I get it’s designed for 36 mph but still …
  2. Curious what the top speed and wakes are like for barefooting w the 6 liter? Saw a YouTube video saying top speed with barefooter in tow was like 38 with 4 blade? Maybe the wrong crowd to ask. I understand it’s 3 event boat
  3. Agree with OKskier. Never had issues w wheelies on any Senates including 22 pro. I’ve heard of some moving their bindings forward. I haven’t messed w fin or binding placement. Works great stock at my level (28 off/34 mph ). Plus I really don’t know how to adjust the fin, or own calipers. Maybe if I ever got good ? I’d start tweaking. Right now it seems perfect stock
  4. Coming off 21 to 22. Subtle differences. Just getting back to where I finished last year, but maybe even more forgiving and maybe a little faster cross course. The harder I push it the more it says “Trust me” Have yet to blow out the tail. Then again the 2021 was awfully good too.
  5. @Mastercrafter Yes. Those are real numbers. Most dealers can’t even order one. Classic supply and demand. If all build slots are full why waste one on a 100k ski boat is not just MC boat co philosophy. And who can blame them I guess.
  6. Inflation is real. I was thinking about a Prostar w the 21 redesign. In 2020 the MSRP was listed at 75k and one could buy one in my area for mid 80s nicely equipped. In 2021 I could have bought a promo w 200 hours for 76k. Or order a new 22 (when we thought you’d actually have a chance to get it in 22) for 92k To order a 2023 they’re talking 120k! Pretty hard to justify in my view. With the economic downturn and interest rate increases (not to mention 5 dollar gas) the demand for all boats will drop significantly. I think the mfg know this and are shoring up their balance sheets for a downturn like 2008. Thoughts? 85k in 2020, 92k in 2021 and 120k in 2023 for essentially the same boat is unsustainable I say.
  7. Terrible spring weather here so far but of the 3 times on mine I love it. Coming off a 2021. Still shaking rust off but it’s at least as good as the 21. Hard to notice a lot of difference yet but I’ll report back after some more sets.

My son reports that “it looks cooler” on the water w the bright green lettering on the bottom for what that’s worth ?
