  1. @lefty I'm your weight and skied a 67 in Senate for the last couple years. It's a good ski but I always felt it was a bit large for me. I also felt the 65 in would be too small. I tried a KD Krypton Fusion and really like it. It comes in a 66in and is similar in width to the Senate. Good ski and half the price of Senate. Also, you can demo it for cost of shipping. Contact Scott at S lines if interested, he was great to work with.
  2. @Horton It said 2023, no matter, I'll go to your setting and hope I don't go out the front! LOL
  3. @Horton Thank you. I couldn't find your chart any where on their KD USA site. I took a set yesterday and couldn't make it work at all. Not knowing where to start, I set binding at 29 in, close to the Platinum setting. Driver thought the water was breaking way back on the ski. You said you used stock so I assume 29 3/4. I'll go way forward on next set and see what happens. I found the Europe chart, not sure why the chart settings are so different. KD Europe: 2023 Krypton Fusion KD KRYPTON CARBON & KD KRYPTON - FACTORY SETTINGS SIZE BINDINGS FIN LENGTH FIN DEPTH FIN DFT WING 66” 29 1/4” 6.800 2.495 0.78
  4. @Horton Just got a fusion to demo (66 IN). Website has no info on binding or fin. Do you have your begining settings on binding and fin ? Thanks
  5. @Horton I mentioned 30mph because you said in the second paragrph under the video that you started 30mph@28 off. Maybe you meant 34.
  6. @Horton Could you tell me what size fusion you tried, couldn't find the size in any of the discussions. Also, how did it feel at 30mph. Did you only try 28 off at 30 or shorter lengths? Lastly, do you know if it's a wider ski that a Senate, also your weight.
  7. @The_MS: I can make the 29 3/4 work. Running 28,32 Just wasn't sure which set of numbers to try first. That 1/2" difference seemed like a pretty big spread. My next hole gives me 29 1/2", and the next one is 29 1/4 I usually run long and shallow. So logic is if bindings are back, go deeper on fin ? Appreciate your response.
  8. Just got a 67" KD Platinum to demo, but a little confused on recommended binding placement. KD has "Factory Settings" and "Pro Team Settings." Factory says 29 3/8" and Pro calls for 29 3/4" That's a 1/2 " difference. Using my Reflex plate I'm in the very last hole and don't quite get 29 3/4", but close enough. I would have thought the Pro settings would be the one with bindings back? Any suggestion where to start, maybe split the difference? I've always tended to run my bindings back a little on Good skis and radar vapor.
  9. @dave2ball I didn't slam it all the way right, just slightly fast flush with right side and it is driving really well. May still take your advice and see what happens!
  10. Anyone have a schedule of events and running orders?
  11. Moved the rudder tab to flush with right side and I'd say it's about a 90% improvement. Still a little excess steering wheel movement compared to my ski partner's 2019 Nautique, but certainly good to ski. I'm guessing a new cable, but will wait for a little cooler weather here in Florida. I might try going a little past flush to the right just to see the reaction, but it's pretty good right now. Thanks for all the comments!
  12. I have a 2017 200 with 6.2 engine. Steering has gotten loose. MY rudder tab was slightly to the left looking at it from the rear. I moved it more to the left and seems like it made it worse so will try going back to the right. Also, hands off the wheel at 32 mph and boat goes straight line. I would have thought that with that much left trim tab the boat would really turned to the left. Second issue is that the steering wheel turns about 1 1/2 to 2 inches before the rudder moves. I'm going to pull the motor hood this week and look at all connetions and check the cable. Any suggestions as to direction to trouble shoot. Rudder is solid, no play, under the dash is solid, as is tilt hub.
  13. @kc Found it! I was looking at the Nationals registration and then saw the invitational as a separate tournament listed below it. Thanks
  14. @kc I don't see anything listed for this event under registration status. The only thing I see for friday is lake 1. What am I missing, anyone?
