  1. @6balls thats super useful. I’ve gone back and forth and the need to go 36 because I’m not in a tournament.
  2. @Horton Thank you. I guess that was really the question I was trying to ask.
  3. @jgills88 There are a good amount of talented skiers at the lake I'm at so that might be a good idea. @ral I'm starting at 32. I started skiing the course only this year. I'm 33. I definitely have a lot to learn and improve on myself. I've spent a few days with a coach, and it's been a huge help.
  4. So I'm very new to skiing. I'm currently on a carbon omni, and am pretty consistently 15 off passes @ 34, and less consistent @ 36mph. I'm ready to move to a more high end ski or better performing ski, but I honestly don't know where to start. Cost really isn't big issue. I don't know if I should just go for a full on high end comp ski or is there something in the middle. I'm opening to any input or thoughts. Thanks
  5. I 2nd The boarding School in Orlando area. I was just there this week for a day and half and had an absolutely amazing time. Freddie was super cool, and an awesome coach.
  6. @keithh2oskier I made sure to set everything to the factory setting before using it. So I know I'm at least at that baseline.
  7. So I'm pretty new to water skiing. I recently just bought a new ski, and I feel like the ski is over rotating coming around the buoy. I did a little research and it seems like moving my bindings forward would help correct some of this issue. My question is how much do I move them? Do I start with 1/2 in? Less than that, more? Any advice help
  8. @escmanaze I just bought a ski today. I used that KD just because it was there, and I just wanted to see if I’d like skiing. It’s way to big for me (68-69 i’m 150lb) and everyone says it’s not the best ski to learn on, so hopefully my new ski will help my learning.
  9. @KRoundy it’s all new to me so I don’t know any better, haha.
  10. @RGilmore There are buoys on each side. Left hand are a little closer. Right hand are standard. @Rednucleus There are a few very good skiers at the lake we're skiing at that have being coaching us along and it's really helped.
  11. A friend of my mine asked a few months back if I wanted to learn to slalom ski with him and I jumped at the chance. I've been on a ski maybe 5 times in my life, and that was about 10 years ago, but it's starting to make sense. We're running 30mph -15 but going for the closer buoys (I think there about 3ft closer).
