  1. Thanks- I'm most likely going to install a garage rafter kit myself just for that purpose. Putting it on as a solo operation is a part of the reason I'd consider the sport model, though ultimately I think we'd end up using the extra space in a a longer model within the next few years.
  2. What are your thoughts on install w/ the skybox? Its possible I'd leave it on all summer, but my current plan would be to throw it on each trip (~6x over the course of the season). As I say it out loud, maybe that second option is less likely. I really like what I'd read about the Skybox, but most of the reviews I'd found mention that install is less than friendly.
  3. Hey folks, Any recommendations for rooftop carriers? A new baby and his car seat have thwarted our usual seat-down, in-car transport method (65" w single boot, 67" double). With the new passenger, we'd benefit from the extra hauling space as well. I've eyed the Thule Force lineup, specifically the Sport and L sizes. Anyone using these to transport multiple skis? Any issues with space?
  4. Hello all, Was hoping for some guidance as I'm in the market for a new ski. I did a lot of skiing in my late teens- early 20s, all free skiing, typically 34-36 @28 off on a 2005 66" F1. Since then, though my skills dulled a bit as my ski opportunities thinned out, I still find I seem to ski at my best at that speed and length; my ski also was damaged in a move and is no longer useable. In the last year or so, I've had the opportunity to ski a lot more, and it looks like I'll have a chance to actually work at the course a bit as well (mid-30s, never too old, right?). I grew up on the F1 and have mostly been using a borrowed 2008 F1 over the last 6-7 years (have skied the Omni a bit and just didn't quite turn like I was used to). The natural move seems to be something in that bloodline, but I'm willing to look around a bit. Suggestions? Thanks!
