  1. @dvskier yeah I wish someone had told me
  2. I did it falling forward ... I would avoid that at all cost...and use an arm guard
  3. has anyone here injured themselves falling forward with arms stretched out? I did it at a decent speed after hitting a wake. I had my eyes down weight forward, it was dumb. I had very little instruction before my first time skiing... I should have looked up some tips online first.
  4. learning by trial and error ... tried popping off a wake a little but I leaned forward and was looking down, I think my front tip went in the water yanked me down (forward) with out stretched arm and tore my bicep :'(
  5. I tore my bicep belly but decided not to do surgery or mri ... Not sure how it happened
  6. Tore mine arrm through handle I think just the muscle ...not fun
  7. Tore the belly not the tendon (so they believe) I opted out of MRI because of finances ... So no surgery seems to be healing
  8. How will a bicep belly tear heal? I had an ath
  9. I tore my bicep recently no handle .... Was my first time skiing I knew no better :'(
  10. @rawly ...yes, that's nifty and definitely would have saved me... but for me it's such a rare occasion to be water skiing ...no one I was with had a lot of experience
  11. @Jody_Seal ...also , did your arm go through the handle ? I'm wondering if that's what happened to me
  12. @Jody_Seal ... You tore the belly of your bicep ?.. 12 ounces seems light but I guess you don't want to re injure
  13. Thanks guys he seemed pretty confident it was just a belly tear and no surgery needed but it was probably a grade 2 tear
