  1. Brace Maker I thank you. Cheers to you. Many many thanks.
  2. By the way, I can't find a simple resource to read about these boats and how they've changed over time and all that. With cars, all you need to do is wiki them and you get all the generations and features and changes laid out right there. What is a similar way for me to research the boats you've mentioned here?
  3. Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate the insights regarding never leaving a boat in the water, and your suggestions for boats to look into are awesome. Sethro, thanks for the advice on the firewall and the leg room! That would suck to finally get a boat and never be comfortable. Also, MDB1056, thanks for letting me know the Supra is wood. One thing I did know is the issues with wood, but I wasn't thinking of that here for some reason. I'll test drive the Supra just to start getting some perspective, then I'll lie in wait for the right boat. Thanks again!
  4. Hey all! My brother and I need advice winnowing down our list of boats to look at for our first ever ski or wakeboard boat. Here's what to consider: If it matters, we're 6'7" 185 and 195lbs. We're 47 and 49 years old so we won't be super advanced acrobats whether skiing or wakeboarding. Again, not sure if that matters, but there it is. My brother loves to wakeboard and would almost exclusively use it for this. I am cool with whatever. For what it's worth, he boards regular foot and I'm goofy foot. Our price range is 8 to 16K There's a completely refinished 1990 Supra Conbrio for $8500 (no tower) in town right now (https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/search/?category_id=vehicles&query=supra). Would this be a recommendation or would we be advised to wait give the parameters listed? We're ok with waiting. There are a lot of lakes in our county and beyond so used boats aren't rare. Also, I can google this separately, but is it a given to have a lift? Thanks all!
