  1. What was the fin number for Pineapple when you run 38 ?
  2. Thank you so much ! I understood very well!!
  3. Thank you for the comment. I was not saying D3 ION's fin setting = Radar Vapor fin setting. If you could find the right fin number or boots placement for that ski, all ski's behavior will be the same...or not? because anything(turn , edge change, tip engagement, smear etc...) can be tuned by fin setting. @Hortongave me great answer .
  4. I see. Thats the answer I was looking for i guess🙏 this could be out of topic but can you describe each major brand characteristic ? I always tell japanese skiers that "get your ski that you think cool or you like". If you could describe each characteristics over settings, I can recommend more suitable skis for each skiers🤔
  5. Where does that difference come from you think? materials?flex?etc?
  6. Fin setting and Boots placement is so critical. it makes ski's behavior almost completely different ski like from difficult to run the course to deep into your hardest pass. I just thought that even though skis shape are different, any skis(all different brands ) can be the same with fin and Boots placement eventually (almost)? *if its same ski size. I came up with thought when I tried a new ski and was asked " What do you think this ski compare to~~~~" Hmmmm,...
  7. This is from Nick Parsons explaining about new pineapple 🍍 this new ski was designed to be universally more friendly. We have a large but distinct bevel. This will give you grip but keeps the ski riding slightly deeper in the water which helps keep the line tight everywhere. Particularly at the finish of the turn. We also have a higher tail rocker for an easier finish and more centered flat spot. The centered flat spot reduces any chatter or buckling from what the skier experiences. Noticeably so on the skiers offside. Essentially you’ll have a much more fluid arcing turn. All this combined with our softer torsion makes more a friendly forgiving ski. -Nick
  8. @Stevie Boy I see. I've told good Gate is everything to run the course for many many times since I started running the course but it is same for 41off
  9. @LK_skier Ah "risk and reward". you are right. 3 at 41 is a line for going trough the finals at many event.
  10. Hi Ballers!!!! Sorry if you guys already talked about this topic. I've been watching live streaming and results of pro tour and clearly there is a barrier of 3 at 41(for men, maybe 2 at 41 for women) What do you think they need to get more than 3 buoys at 41? My guess is Speed. (not loosing speed around the buoy is a key) I know there are so many other essential factors for 41 but looks like Nate is really good at not loosing speed(and time) at each buoys and that put him early in the course. I want to hear your thoughts and knowledge. I think it makes watching up coming event more fun. Thank you!
