My Family vacations 3-4 times per year on Anna Maria island and we are looking for somewhere to ski and wakeboard while in the area. Obviously we won’t be hauling a boat or carrying our gear so need something “turn key”. Any ideas?

ended up going with a new HO Omni from the Wake Effects folks in Missouri. Ryan was super easy to deal with. Unfortunately the weather and my schedule haven't aligned yet to try it out.

I finally started getting up on a slalom this summer and made good improvement with semi-aggressive open water skiing. I bought a Kidder FX 7.0 (69" I think) off of Craigslist and was liking it fairly well, but it got lost in the lake recently. I'm looking for a good ski recommendation that I can "grow into". Approx. 190 lbs. I'd like to spend less than $500 and definitely OK with a used ski. And, I don't live close to anywhere that I can test drive a bunch of different ones.
