  1. I just discovered Davis FSR gel. Worked amazing after boat was sitting in water for the season. Much better and easier than acid solutions I have used. Applied with bare hands, let sit for 15 min, wipe away no elbow grease required.
  2. I’m size 11 and where a large T-factor in front rtp in the back. Used the large for 8-10 years. Early season will have discomfort after 8 passes. A few years ago started keeping the lace loose over the foot. That helped. Per Terry Winter’s recommendation, I tighten the upper laces as tight as I can get them. I never come out; hence, never any ankle issues since I started this using this method. That being said, I am older and wiser and let go over rope when I am out of position.
  3. A couple other comments. I have owned both 92' PS and 03' 196. Father in law still has the 92' PS which I use on open water. I ski into 35 off @ 34mph for reference. If your skiing a course, I prefer my 196 SN. I like it mostly for reduced spray and tracking. For barefooting, PS is superior. Super easy to stand up directly behind, less turbulence. Crossing the wake is easier as well. I also prefer the PS for foil boarding, inland surfing, SUP surfing, and wakeboarding. Old man's opinion. Not doing any inverts :).
  4. Yes. Let me know if your interested in skiing sometime.
  5. Looking for a ski partner near Corvallis, Oregon. Chasing buoys at 6:30 am and evenings after work at 5:30pm, occasional weekends. Must like Rottweilers.
