    The ent felt it was not but when I mentioned that it crackles and popped but remained full and muffled he didn’t rule out a small perforation or even a flap perforation, that allows water in the middle ear. It dripped for three days until this morning.

    Much thanks for the quick reply - I’ve perforated the other side but this was much more violent. And that side of my face was physically red all day!!! I’ll chime back in after thursday.
