  1. UPDATE: Well, after M_pags checked out the Florida boat, I took his advice and held off with the consideration of spending a bit more for something nicer. That 99 that UWSkier mentioned would have been an absolute steal, but it was gone by the time I joined the FB page. Oh well, I'm still glad that I held off on the FL 2001! I found this 2000 SSLXi for 1k more, with less hours and in FAR better shape! I'm pretty psyched and hoping for decent weather in the next few days to get it out on the water. Thank you for all of the input and advice. 2000 Malibu Sunsetter LXi - Google Photos
  2. Swing and a miss! M_pags checked her out and there were few too many questionable things going on. Generally just a little rougher than what I want to deal with. I'm pretty convinced the Sunsetter LXI is the boat for me, (great wake, walk through bow, large sun pad for lounging at the sandbar etc.), so if anyone knows someone considering selling in the 20k range, please shoot me a message. Thanks for all of the input and help. -J
  3. 01 Sunsetter. m_pags is going to graciously go check it out for me. There are still good people in this world!
  4. Mark , that would be great. PM sent. buechsr That is where it is on consignment. It's an early 2000's with the monsoon.
  5. Hello BOS. I'm a brand new member and a bit of a rookie, but I'm looking for information or a recommendation on someone who could inspect a used Malibu in the Lake Placid FL (2 hours south of Orlando). I live in NH and am interested in the boat and am trying to avoid having to fly down myself, so obviously I'm looking to hire someone to go through it, check compression etc. in hopes of buying the boat and having it transported up north. Any suggestions and or recommendations on an individual would be greatly appreciated. TIA.
