+1 for the 69 P6 or senate. The senate will give you more room to grow if the course is your goal.
Great to see you out there chargin!

Buy the Camaro. You won't be disappointed. It is warm, comfortable and very versatile. Good for cold mornings when water is tolerable and days when water is colder.
It doesn't hold as much water as other suits either so keeping it on between sets doesn't make you as cold as other suits.

Stay Dry baggy for me. Lots of room to layer underneath.

I skied the Seattle stop and loved it. I had never skied in a head to head and although I didn't make it out of the first round it was a blast. Talking trash at each end of the lake adds a whole new dimension to most of us.
I would propose, time permitting, that the bottom 16 do a handicapped head to head as well, not just another round.

Redneck's last words "Watch this"
Last thing he hears "You're doin' it!"

I skied the Katana at 34 as I am old.
-
I'd say its really easy to ski. It is wider than a traditional ski so easy to get up on and skis well at slower speeds, but can rip it up too!
-
Haven't skied the TX.
I was talked into trying the Katana by @eddie_roberts_jr. I only skied 4 passes but was impressed. First pass I didn't try to run bouys, second pass ran -28, third ran -32, and had a look at 6 ball at -35.
This is a very capable ski that gets great acceleration with VERY little effort. The turns are a bit more of a pivot than the carve of my Vapor, but I actually thought of making this my tournament ski.

Can't come up with a caption or stop laughing!

One of my favorite places to ski! Easiest water I have ever skied on!
I can't wait to get back there.

Radar ski, Radar boat, Radar lake. The Vapor rocks!
-
I have and am on the list to get a pair. I am currently on the '16 Vapor with my Strada boots.
I loved them. The lateral stability gave me more turn/acceleration with less effort. I can't wait!

Weather is supposed to be mid to upper 80's with water temp close to 80.
It's gonna be fun!

We call it weenieus armus.
I agree with stretching and the bigger diameter handle. I have found switching between a straight and a bent handle when it acts up helps.

We have the opposite problem in the Pacific Northwest. I enjoyed a set with @MarkTimm Sunday wearing snow ski parkas and a baller index of under 50.
-
@lundberg, great to see you out there! Hope an addiction has been created!
Thanks again for letting us steal the fin off your extra ski to get Sam going.
-
No problem doing a one foot start and then sliding in on the fly.
You can vary the width with mounting to allow for some heel pivot if you want some, or keep it tight to minimize float.
-
I skied one for years. Helps those of us without ankle flexibility and keeps back leg from getting pulled out of the kicker.

There is a mode where you can adjust one ball, three ball, and end course times. I spent some time dialing this in as part of the calibration with the Z'box off( don't think it matters). Sometimes it is set so the three ball time is always fast, or one ball is slow, etc. It just needs a little tweaking. Look at the troubleshooting videos at perfectpass.com

Ouch! Similar one happened to me this weekend. Rope broke on my opener in a tournament. Knocked the wind out and ribs sore as can be, but at least I got a re-ride.
-
Totally understand his frustration.

TW is a bad man. That -39 tail, 3@41 was perhaps the most amazing live skiing I have ever seen.
-
This was a great event! World class site with world class people. Lots of -39's being run.
Made me sign up for the BOS cash prize!
There are now some Home Brew ads in the forum. It is an experiment.
