  1. @VONMAN my settings are similar to yours except my boot is at 28 3/4. I run Powershells but switching to reflex soon. Moving the boot back a bit really helped me, which was surprising. Definitely try different set ups with boot placements. I had the CG fin on my C85 and loved it. Once I settle into the Reflex, I'm going to try the CG on the 95. But honestly, the ski is performing so well I'm loathe to change much. Nearly ran 32-off today for the first time in 4 years. Gonna run it this weekend! @ghutch The CG fin (in my experience) evens out your heel and toe turns to make them much more symmetrical. You'll get more angle off side without sacrificing anything onside. It made my C85 (which I think had too narrow a sweet spot for a 28-off skier) perform much better. The 95 is at a different level, IMO. Hard to explain until you try it.
  2. I’ve been on the C95 for about a month, and I am blown away! Here are my details: I’m 62 yo, 6’2” 200lbs. PB is 3 @ 35 but that was a decade ago. For the past two years I’ve been struggling to run 28 consistently due to age, injury, travel, etc. I started skiing on the C95 in March (Trophy is my home site) and after a week of tuning (boots back, more fin length) the ski is performing like nothing I’ve ridden—ever! I’ve basically jumped an entire pass with this sucker—knocking down 28s consistently and getting deep into 32. I’ll probably run 32 sometime this month—something I’ve not done in 4 years. Yeah, the ski is fast and it took me a few sets to settle in—but once I got used to the tempo, I realized I just don’t have to work as hard to get cross course. Handle on hip and the thing just explodes. I can ski more sets with much less body ache—for an old hack like me, that’s huge. My offside turn (previously my nemesis) is now actually better than my onside. Heel side is tighter with a perfect tail wash on both sides. Everything seems slower because I’m much faster ball to ball. This isn’t a ski just for the Adams and Austins of the sport—mid-line, 34 mph skiers like me should see substantial gains with the C95. Honestly, it’s made skiing fun again for me!
