  1. fittingly this came out today; or here; https://radarskis.com/spraymakers
  2. @Cent I have both brands as you. I dry my Stokes inside out, can’t see the reason for not doing that? Stokes are more durable, yes, but the Blactec is much warmer and and we both appreciate the Titanium for it’s flexibility.
  3. @svxwilson Titanum more flexible, the spring you barely notice, but not as warm. The tops are different in sizing between Blactec and Titanium. I need a large Titanium but medium Blactec. On the spring I run large on both models.
  4. @OSSKI Thanks for constantly improving an already great app! I have two new functions on my wish list; 1: Freeski option, I have mentioned that in earlier post 2: I have a line with training loops in between the regular ones and I know I'm not alone. Would be very nice if there was an option to use the grid below with those included if one wanted, ie; 18,25m 17m 16m 15m 14,25m 13,6m 13m 12,5m 12 11,6m 11,25
  5. @Givego Why doesn't the app exist in Europe?
  6. also, if you heat mold, you can buy a to small liner and after heat molding it will fit and be thinner than the "right" size. This is a tip I got from Fluid Motion long time ago. I acutally did that just a week ago. Since Aqua is a more comfortable liner I bought one size small, an S instead of M, for my Reflex 5.0 shell size 10, and swapped my thin Reflex liner to an Intuition Aqua. It made the boot a bit tighter but that was what I wanted and not as tight as the Aqua M would have made it.
  7. @mtnskiskate the thin Reflex liner makes a big difference compared to an Aqua, maybe you can start with trying that?
  8. @jjackkrash just wanted to show there was a larger alternative, sorry
  9. @Chet , length measurements are jaws with slot caliper, right?
  10. https://www.instagram.com/p/CDR2P_eIBZs/?igshid=exm5vq7jb7c3 Methodwatersports French waterski boat has been officially homologated for competition last week this Insta post says
  11. @ForrestGump it's in the right place, I have two sets of Reflex 5 bindings and the height is the same on both boots. Reflex recommend to low setting, and now when I increased tension binding works as it should. I should have done the simple release test @Horton done a video off, then my injury would not have happened.
  12. @ForrestGump Everything is correct set up, have used different model Reflex bindings since 1998... With my new binding for the year, Reflex 5 with the 840 orange release, I decided to follow the manuals recommended setting which was a mistake. As I wrote above, since increasing the setting from 4 to 5.5, I've had no pre-release and releases when appropriate.
  13. Free skied in April at 28 and 32 off. When we put the course in I lengthened to 22 off and larger wake. Reflex front pre-released in the first gate and I stretched myself in the fall and ruptured one of the front leg hamstring muscles. Rehab for 6 weeks until I could ski again. I had set the Reflex 840 orange binding to my recommended setting according to the manual which was 4,0. I now run it at 5,5 and haven't had any pre-release since. It has released when it should the couple of times I have crashed. I'm 165lbs. My set-up is snug, so that was not the problem. The manual recommends to low settings, that's the general opinion my Reflex ski buddies have.
  14. @Givego not possible to download the app in Sweden, is it for US only?
  15. @TFIN Quite a few elite skiers have been seen with aftermarket fins on their Radar skis? One example on the picture.
  16. Bump to this thread and hope @SkiJay will continue to give feedback (seemed to fade away)? I mounted the Whisper fin on my Goode ReVOcc 66.5 following the exact numbers given at https://finwhispering.com/whisperfin-setups/ . I experienced notably quicker turns with no negative effect on another parameter. I 100% prefer the WF to the stock fin. I'm skiing into 32 off 34mph at the moment, so not high level.
  17. I think this one is in the same category, both so easy, the way I would like to ski...
  18. Does anyone know if the z-box actually does anything whilst freeskiing or does it just work when in the course?
  19. We have separate 55s in one end of our club course (which is Insta-slalom type of cable course). We realized that it must measure to long. Today I borrowed a golf distance meter and it worked great for measuring even though I was doing the job alone, now the 55s are spot on from both ends.
  20. Re the lower chart; Isn’t it so that since Caldwell scored 0,5 just the first two bouys were measured, no need for more?
  21. @jordanh Denali Skis and Adam Cord ( @AdamCord ) have YouTube channels that post regularly and with good content. You also find a lot of stuff at Goode's YouTube
  22. @ErikBerghiller, that means you vould sell it in Sweden now then?
