  1. If you want cheap and discounts, go to Walmart. See if you can get your ski gear there.
  2. @6balls, I am RTP guy and have been using a Dakine heel strap since 2010. I will have to takes some pics and send them out again. I can say without question that this setup has saved me from a one in-one out situation when your ski over-rotates or stops or the tail blows out, more than I can count. I know because I can feel the strap stretch and hold my foot in place or at least far enough into the rubber so it doesn't come out which allows the ski to screw into the water versus all of that rotational torque on just your front leg. I am certain I would have been injured on some of those instance without the strap. I could not, would not ski without it.
  3. If you are too fast at 1 ball it is a pull out, height on the boat, glide, turn in, intensity through the gates issue. Are you a one-handed or two-handed gate? Video would definitely help. Without any video to look at I will start by guessing height on boat. Typically, too fast or too narrow at one means you are narrow at the turn in. This creates less angle of attack and more speed into 1 ball. Wider at the start allows you to create better angle with less speed. Next time you ski, just try to pull out to a point wider than you are typically comfortable pulling out to; I call it uncomfortably high on the boat, then you know you are there. You may be surprised.
  4. @ShererSkier they had a quality issue with them actually breaking. I also prefer a smaller diameter than the 1.00" they offered before; they said they may be able to custom size the diameter this time around.
  5. yes, they are going to re-release it. I spoke with Randy at Masterline, in person, back in April and at that time they said they were testing some handles. They said it would be about three months from that point to when they were ready to hit the market again.
  6. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that you are supposed to use 303 on unwaxed surface. It is supposed to penetrate the gelcoat surface. I think it suggested re-application every 3 or 4 weeks to keep up the protection.
  7. @MattP that is Isle of Hancock
  8. @bananaron what is your hours and price range? I personally know of a really good deal on a 2011 SN 200 CB with 630 hours and it is one of the last non-CAT engines that were put in those boats; so better fuel economy. It is in great condition. It skis and drives as good as any boat out there; I know from personal experience. PM me for more information if you are interested.
  9. McMaster Carr https://goo.gl/5i2KwR and all you want to know about set screw types https://goo.gl/WvkyO6
  10. @6balls I will be really interested in your take on the 68" versus the 67". I am 190 - 193 and demoed a 67" pro build this last week for 3 sets, then I ordered one (Coral).
  11. Did he finally get on the pro build? I think he was on the 2016 for a while even once the pro build came out.
  12. Sorry....30 MPH looks like a lot of work and not so much fun.
  13. @DanE Today and Tomorrow at Hancock, not sure of the times but probably all day. It is 3 event. Saturday and Sunday at Drew's might just be slalom, maybe trick....no jump. They are listed on the USA Waterski site.
  14. I think last year they did this on a weekly or biweekly basis once the season got going on Thursday nights. I know there is an invite tournament at Isle of Lake Hancock on Thursday and Friday, so maybe they moved it just for this week? Also, there is another invite on Saturday and Sunday at Drew Ross's lake which is on the same property as Isle of Lake Hancock. These are both record tournaments that will be well represented.
  15. that looks like it have been used primarily on a Nautique pylon
  16. @TFIN taking you up on your offer to assist, PM'd you.
  17. @Texas6 we have a 2015 Prostar with screen issues too. Ours will toggle between screens without and prompting, most of the time it switches to the keyboard screen and you cannot get it to go back. None of the touch screen buttons will work and neither will the rubber buttons. Sometimes you can get it back to the ZO screen, sometimes not. Sometimes the "+" will toggle on without any prompting, sometimes it will bump up th 36 mph. The dealer tried to tell me that the screen may be dirty (it isn't) or that the battery may be too weak (it isn't). We shall see what comes of it; but, it is under warranty so I expect it to be taken care of one way or another.
  18. Make my own....lot cheaper and hold up better
  19. Was on their dock this last weekend. Great place if you can swing it!
