I am a pretty new slalom skier and having problems getting good angle on my offside (RFF, 1-3-5 ball). I wonder if anyone can offer some advice for things to focus on. It seems like I am either stuffing the tip and then I break at the waist, or I don't get enough angle. I am skiing at 34 mph 15 off right now. I doubt it matters much but I am on a 2006 D3 Nomad (white top) with double D3 high wraps. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Anyone know if these guys make a ski boat.....

Does anyone have a realistic cost for a system like this if you don't include labor for installation? I have a 99 Malibu sportster (maybe the lightest DD ever made) and there is a lake very close to my house that I can't use because the city says "no power boats" because the water is part of the drinker water for the city.

Anyone know anything about a new D3 wide ride ski?

Any thoughts on proper sizing/AMP for this ski.  Also, I wonder if it is legal for Int. wide ride.

Any thoughts for how to figure out what size/AMP 9900 is right?  I wonder if this ski would work well at 30 mph?

How about this.... A totaly BALLS OUT tourny.  6 passes, fall as many times as you want.  Best score gets the glory!  That would be fun ( to watch )!!

Skibug, I am useing double high raps (D3 Leverage).  I think it is my leg as well... I have been skiing ALOT this week and there is a nice big red spot on my calf (ouch).  I was wondering if rotating my back boot a bit might have some benifit?

Is 3500 really that insane for a toy that you use on a regular basis???  I know people who drop 15k on a quad, or sled, dirtbikes for the kids or what ever...  For me, 1000 dollar ski is more than I need (even though I have one) , but thats just me.

What about monitoring rope tension in relation to position in the course also?  For me i seem to ski better when I load the rope less, or at least that is my perception.....

Has anyone ever tried making other "ski or boat" things out of carbon?  I was thinking carbon tracking fins, rudder, swim deck, or maybe even a carbon prop would be very cool!!!  As I have NO skills or expertiese in these areas I thought I would toss it out there to the Horton's or Lee's of the world and see what you guys think.  Is any of this stuff possible? I think weight reduction should have a positive effect on boat performance.  I would love to hear what you guys think.
