  1. Bryan,  I sent you an email. Let me know that you received it. Thanks.
  2. I have an '07 Triumph and the fin was mangled in an unfortunate encounter with the shoreline. Does anyone have an old fin that will fit that they can offer up or know where I can get one? Thanks.
  3. Thanks for the replies guys. My main question is whether the KD 3000 is still "good enough" or whether I can justify buying a new ski and bindings for her. Sorry Horton, but I definitely can't justify an Elite. Anyone else in MS's school of thought that a little extra length is as good as a wider ski?  I actually have an old 65" KD CR7 lying around somewhere. How do you think that will work? Thanks again
  4. Looking for opinions on a ski for the wife. She's about 5'2" and 105 lbs. Currently skis on a '99 KD 3000 64" with a Comp front and RTP. She's been slaloming for a couple years and is starting to get into the course. She can make the mini course at about 26 mph, but is on a mission to run the full course this year.  I'd like to be able to slow the boat down enough for her to run the full course, but also not drown.  Do you guys think the KD 3000 is still a good option or do you think an upgrade to a Radar Lyric or similar would help get her to the next step? Any thoughts are appreciated.
  5. Roger, I got your email. I'll give her a call. Thanks for the info.
  6. Roger,  Thanks for the reply. Please email me the info at lazzz00 at aol dot com. Thanks
  7. Ed, Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna try Schnitz now.  Anyone else?
  8. So here is my situation. I come down from NY to WPB once a month for a week from November thru April. I have a ski boat. I'm looking for a ski partner who also has a place where I can store the boat in relative proximity to Okeeheelee. Anyone out there have an empty gargage and want to hook up for some skiing?
  9. I am a member at Twin Lakes in Monroe, NY. We have a two lake site with 2 Record capable slalom courses and a jump ramp. 2 Malibus and a resident driver/coach. I believe there are memberships available. PM me if you want more details.ÂÂ
  10. I have a brand new 2009 Monza 67", never touched water or even had bindings mounted.  I'd really like to try the A1. Anyone have an A1 and want to swap? I'd be glad to kick in for the difference. Thanks.
  11. I'm having problems with the paddlewheel, system surging, wacky speed readings. Does Stargazer (even the older versions) require input from the paddlwheel if being used strictly for slalom in Classic and GPS modes? If I disconnect the paddlewheel can I still continue to use those modes? My understanding, which may be entirely incorrect, is that the paddlewheel, which gives speed based inputs, should not effect these modes since they are RPM based. Help???
  12. David, I bought a Nautique branded display for $15 which works fine. I'd rather the Malibu display since its for my Response, but I dont really need it. So unless your asking price is really low, I'll pass. email me at alski2104@yahoo.com
  13. David, Is the display boat branded or generic perfect pass? What type of boat? Thanks.
  14. I'm looking to buy a 3.5" Perfect Pass single line display for my Malibu RLX. If anyone who has upgraded to the new multi line display wants to sell their old display please let me know. Thanks.
  15. Does that say Best Score: 1@9.25? Isnt that 45 off?ÂÂÂ
  16. 2mm it is. Thanks Boys.
  17. Which Jet Pilot F-22 is the better way to go,  1 mm or 2 mm? I'm in the northeast, spring and fall skiing with water and air temps in the 50's. Thanks.
  18. MS, Its been a coupla weeks, but after moving both my bindings back one hole and going with your numbers, the ski is feeling great. I'm running 6.94 tips which on my caliper is 6.83 jaws, 2.510, and .685 dft. I think moving the fin back was the clincher, just as you suggested.  3 @-38 at 36 OTD.  Thanks for the help. On another note, my ski buddy is running a 2002 CDX 66" and is having some trouble once he hits 32 off. Do you, or anyone, have numbers that may work for that ski? Do you think the Monza numbers might work? Thanks for the help
  19. My Dad is 55, 6'1, 190, skiing the course at 15 off 28 and 30 mph. Hes been skiing a 69" HO Charger for the last 5 yrs. He really wants to upgrade to an F1. Would a 70" F1 be too much ski for him? Would it help him at the slow speeds and longer line lengths. Thanks.
  20. MS, hopefully you can provide some wisdom... I moved my bindings (Animals) back one hole, 28.75, and moved the fin back from .715, to about 6.85. I'm having a tough time getting a good DFT measurement with the caliper head. It fluctuates between .68 and .71, b/c the concave on the tail makes it tough to get the caliper flush. Do you use the caliper head or stem to get the DFT? With these settings I'm not breaking as I was with bindings middle hole, but the ski is hesitating out of the turn, ski tip comes up at 35.  I'm running length 6.94 with tips, dont want to add more tip. Since theres room, will it help if I move just the back binding forward? Thanks for the help
  21. MS, Thanks for the help. I have double animals. Center hole is at 29.25 and one hole back is 28.75. When I started at center holes the ski tip was biting, I was blowing out the tail and breaking at the waste, not pretty. If I go back to center holes and move the fin back to .700, will that help alleviate those problems? I thought moving the fin back will give me more tip, not what I want with bindings at center holes ?? Thanks again.
  22. Hi all. New to the forum. Love all the great discussion. I just moved to a 2007 67 Monza from 2001 68 CDX. I'm a 36 mph skier, skiing into 38 off. I started with my bindings center hole and 2.514, .71, 6.915 tips, wing 9, pretty sock. The first few sets the ski was biting real hard on my toeside 1,3,5 and I was breaking at the waist, didnt feel too stable. I had always run my bindings one hole back on my CDX so I tried that to get me off the tip. Well that cured breaking at the waste, but now the ski is hesitating on both sides. At 35 off, The line goes slack at 1 and the ski tip comes up. Any advice on binding placement and fin adjustment? Thanks
