  1. Kind of following what @twhisper alluded to in the linked post. I had instructor suggest that I pretend that a broom stick was coming out of my "arss" and point straight it down between my feet. I appreciated the "pretend" part of the tip. Did I say Lucky?
  2. I finished season on 24 Senate Probuild. Don’t think it will be long until a similar thread of its own gets started. A really nice ski. Great job Radar!
  3. No surprise that Im over the moon happy with my 2024 Senate Pro. Same balance of turns and pull back to the wakes
  4. New design for Senate also??

    Masters

I think slalom broadcast and commentary was very good this year. A big improvement in my opinion. Good job Masters!

    Masters

Why no info or hype on the Masters?
  7. How I see it -Boat is only source of power -ski is source acceleration to skier -Transmission of energy to ski passes thru rope and skier -Energy loss occurs at skier interface, bending, flexing etc. The squeeze makes total sense to minimize energy loss -Acceleration of ski determined by force vectors, relative ski position, and contact with water To the extent that water contact is improved by soft knees ,flex seems good
  8. Great line up, World championship Air Hockey followed by Belt Sander Racing. Guess Corn Hole has lost prime time and waterskiing shouldn’t feel bad.
  9. Horton has a good point. I bought a carbon fin years ago and was red herring.
  10. @horton makes me think that i have wasted a bunch of money on new skis over the years, but sure has been fun!
  11. @Stevie Boy just keep it under maneuvering speed
  12. CSI. Possible cause Hard pull to 5, wake pop. ski bounce with body moving forward, right edge of ski tip digs, body hits water like fly swatter, heavy loading and planter flexion of ankles (no chance for these bindings to release in this direction) weight now back in relation to ski, peak force, ski breaks. Not sure if this is what happened but It is possible that fall caused failure, and not failure caused fall. I recall reading that skis are weakest bending tip toward bottom. Pull +4-5 G’s in Cessna and wings fall off, only need -2 G’s for wings to fall off. Its all determined by design. I am recovering from fibula fracture and surgery resulting from slip on wet grass and planter flexion of my ankle. Ankles only go so far. Missing my first ski season in 51 years sucks, I feel your pain, heal fast!!!
