    I've discovered you cannot use the high end video cameras on the back of the new cell phones, Samsung or iPhone, with the Wakeye or Ski-Doc Orbit. All you get is wavy unusable video. If you flip the phone over and use the front facing lower quality Selfie camera, the video works fine but you can't zoom or anything like that. This problem makes no sense to me with todays technology. Why can't someone write an app to fix this?

    @Horton, does the hero 8 have a built in microphone?

    It appears to me waterskiing is growing at the collegiate level. Those kids (both boys and girls) are creative, intelligent, know how to have fun, party, get good grades, get degrees, get good jobs, get married and raise lots of little waterskiers that become collegiate waters. These kids also share the sport with their none collegiate friends and their parents friends.

    Up here in Alaska water is 35° air 45°, air warmed up from low 30's last week. What's really amazing is that the lake hasn't froze yet so we are enjoying an extended season.

    @Horton Any chance you can confirm your results using a Radar fin block, and are you using the fin thickness designed for the Radar in your MAD fin block mounted on your Vapor?

    Does moving the binding forward make the ski glide easier or make the ski faster? At 30.75 the ski feels like it takes less effort to get from buoy to buoy.

    I should mention I am using a CG Fin set to stock setting including DFT with a mini wing at 7°. The ski feels really good at these settings so I think I will stay at 30.75 until I run into the problems mentioned above.

    @UWSkier yes, it was in my post, I have Zbox, it is a must have for slalom. I have not tried giving it the beans, wouldn't want to rip anyone's arms out of their sockets, but I will try over throttling on the setup and report back.
