  1. Looks like I was 1st to take the video coaching from @Horton, the platform was really easy to use and it wasn't long before I got a 10 minute video back from him, it was straight to the point and I have a couple of things to go away and work on, I am sure I will use it again later in the season, it's always good to see new innovations like this on BOS 👍

When coaching where I get lost is the following situation.

    • The skier understands what a stacked or athletic position looks like. The end goal is crystal clear.
    • The skier has a decent stack into the first white water
    • The skier is a broken hot mess by the secondwhite water.  Hips back / elbows are bent / back ankle is very bent / ass is dragging

Id be interested in the collective views on managing this issue.  From the coaching I do, I see this a lot and depending on the level of the skier the cause (and solution) appears to be quite different?

    You taking about me? 😁😁😁

  3. Definitely no excuses for me now apart from I am ancient but to think that this was done on a 5 year old $300 ski that he found lying on the dock and borrowed the rest of the equipment proves that we only set our own limits and that Joel is from another planet

  4. I have had both of mine done a few years ago but from memory it was about 4 weeks but you will know yourself, when you don't feel pressure in your eye when you bend down you should be fine, it's all about not bursting the stitches and opening the wound you will be told not to bend down to tie your shoe laces for the first couple of weeks.

  5. A 9 year old boy skiing in his 2nd ever competition recently ran a pass at 28 mph 15 off, he was dropped at the end and told sure path was out of tolerance so he had the option to run it again or accept 4 buoys at 28mph he opted to run it again which he did but my question is why he had to, as far as I know sure path or any other system is only advisory at this level and no disrespect to the driver or officials but a 90lb boy is not going to make much of an impression on the boat path of a tournament ski boat at this speed or line length, but having to ski a pass again through no fault of his own is going to leave a lasting impression on this young skier, common sense should have prevailed but it seems it didn't.

  6. I changed to the new Vapor boot from Reflex this year and was worried about coming out of it, read somewhere that someone was using a thin neoprene sock in the liner so tried that and it feels so much better and I can pull it off in the water without releasing the BOA giving me confidence that I will come out of it in a crash.

By the way…do the ibuprofen or the whiskey but don’t combine them. That will make you old before your time.

Too late on that advice but everything in moderation and overdose at the first symptoms has worked so far😁
