  1. Spectra is definitely solid but probably the last thing you should use for "nasty elbow syndrome."
  2. Well, we are going to have a 69" version. Think that's too big, or am I missing the (decimal) point?
  3. I think MBskier meant to say .2" wider. What's in a silly little decimal point anyway?
  4. The poly vinyl chloride ( PVC ) cores that basically all manufacturers use are closed cell foam and will not absorb water.
  5. Ed, To make things simple I'm pretty sure you could bolt your D3 front binding right up to the existing inserts of the Strada then put your back D3 binding on an H.O. plate which will bolt right on as well.
  6. Okay Shane, you found us out, but did you have to let our little secret out? That's exactly what we do.Then we do " Row, row, row your boat " and then, " 99 bottles of beer on the wall." We're not ashamed. You'll have to come up and sing with us and skip down to the dock to have a set sometime. The RD and OF Waterski Talk and Call in Show? Not a bad idea Rob! They'd be in hawg heaven.
  7. The current hole pattern for the Strada binding mounting matches the H.O hole pattern. The old one matched the back of the D3. When did you order your ski Ed? From whom? Whisper if you like.
  8. If your wife likes the graphics on the Lyric it might just be the ski for her. It's built from the same mold as the Senate and has a softer, all glass construction.
  9. I had to have C5 and C6 fused with a hunk of my hipbone back in '93. Anterior laminectomy is what they called it. I don't think I had many options at that time as I had herniated the disk. MRIs showed that the spinal cord was pinched down to 30% of its original diameter. I still ski, but a bit more carefully.
  10. Hey David, I think you have my number. Give me a call and I'll send you a set of new slider thingies. Standoffs, neck washers, whatever. They're 18-8 stainless now and will last longer.
  11. Actually Marc, I'm pretty sure I recommended 6.840 with tips not 6.74. 6.840 is stock with .750 DFT and 2.505 depth.
  12. Measure to the bottom line of stitching on the RS1 boot. It' s a little further forward and approximates the " inside the horseshoe " measurement on most rubber boots.
  13. Good to know that your new gal has a nice back side John but the fin is the same shape as the gold. Riding her bone stock?
  14. Roger, Thanks for "taking one for the team." Although if you took an OTF just to see what would happen, Im a little worried about you.
