  1. Thanks for all the suggestions. I knew I had to strengthen my core, but I would have never thought that crunches would be bad for my back. I will be buying one of the support belts that was suggested in addition to working on my core.
  2. I spent two months off this summer living in my recliner after I threw out my back after skiing and am a little apprehensive about skiing again. On my third set, I felt pain in my lower back getting pulled out. After an MRI, I have a slight L3 bulging disc. I couldn't even walk I was in crazy pain. After 2 months and 2 steroid injections I'm feeling better. Would switching from 2 feet in to 1 foot starts help lower the stress on my back? Neoprene weight lifting belt? I thought I saw an men's open skier wear one. Would a Goode Power Vest help or would it just help reduce the load on the arms? Opinions??
  3. When I changed out my impeller, it was just a lot easier to pull out the whole pump assembly and change it out on the workbench.
  4. The beam is 95". Are you talking about the bunks that are underneath the boat? I just measured mine out so they are close to the bunks on my trailer.
  5. Finding a torque wrench that had the low torque setting was the hardest part, but it's also very helpful for snugging up the engines knock sensors when you put them back in during the winterization process. I think I bought mine at Harbor Freight. Cheap.
  6. I have found the vice to be the best glove for me. I've had the Clinchers, ML and they don't compare to the Radar. I will be needing to replace a model from 2 years ago and have heard the newer ones are better; however, they run smaller. I guess that gives me a reason to go visit and support my friends / local dealer. Currently I wear a medium with a .94 ML curved setup.
  7. I like the ski art, but for that price I could get a Radar tent...uhh I mean Radar TUBE, yeah tube. Haha , j/k @Horton. :p
  8. I need a hoodie in Michigan..........or a BOS parka.
  9. "cold" is relative. Try living in Michigan. My friend in Ohio have two more month of skiing a year than I do. You could live in FLA and have to put up with the stank humidity in the summer. Or Kalifornia and live with the socialist state gov.
  10. I bought a Camaro shortie and full suit from Robby. Awesome service, awesome product. Michigan has only seen a handful of days over 82. I will getting a impact vest whenever they get in stock. Hopefully soon.
  11. I'm looking at getting one. @Horton I noticed that you got one from Masterline but I haven't seen the review.
  12. My next purchase to go with the shortie. It's hard to focus on skiing when my drysuit is chocking me to death. For the price of getting a larger neck seal, I can get a Camaro.
  13. Would putting shims under the bunks be a viable alternative? My 200 sits very low on my Phoenix trailer forcing me to put the trailer in deep. You can see a gouge that was left on cross beam in front of the roller by the keel.
  14. After being told many time, "get your hips up" , "stop skiing off your back foot" and not improving, I am going to focus on keeping my back heel down, back leg straight. My Radar sequence plate (first generation) is all bent up from me subconsciously lifting up my back heel. After moving back to a RTP I noted how much I was lifting it.
  15. I bought my firkin years ago. It's the cat's meow. People ask me all the time where they can get one.
