About the promised update about speed at the gate for another SN, well I didn't drive it in either of the tournaments the last two weekends.  (Malibu one weekend and MC the next.  I've been using C in practice with the SN and not knowing what else to do, C behind the MC.  Skied the MC last two tournaments and can't really sense a difference BT the MC and the SN.  I'm not that much of a skier though (mid 32off). Whether ZO or what, I am down about 4-5 buoys this year. Seems to be same scores even with PP 6.5ng in practice or ZO in practice.  Just been thinking it's old age.

If I read you right, you're skiing better now.  The problem is not that you're missing passes you used to run.  For me, if I can't hold on or get the handle in it usually is due to loss of speed.  I get too slow and obviously the boat doesn't slow down for me....the line gets tight before I can get my hips to the handle.  Take note of your ski speed.

If you choose to go with a belt...Sheik is a pretty good belt.

You may want to think about ski speed.  If the ski gets too slow, the boat will run away from you and you're left with your arms out and can't get your hips up.

Forgot to mention that I am looking at the ZO digital speedo.

Roger,  '08 SN 196.  I don't understand why our boat is at 34.7 at the gate.  Everyone else on this and other forums seem to be getting 34.3-4  We have a tournament this weekend.  I'll check the promo '08 SN and see what it does. 

As to boat speed at the gate with ZO....I have been watching closely the last few practice sessions.  I observed consistet 34.7 when passing thru the gate.  This is with a one-hand turn-in skier.  I suspected a difference would be apparent with traditional turn-in, but found no difference.  I can't explain why Roger is seeing 34.2-3 and I see 34.7.
