I spoke to someone a couple of weeks ago who has skied with Dr. Jim since "the situation". This person said he still skis and even makes fun of the what happened. It was a little awkward they said.
I guess Dr Jim would be a good person to comment on the whole, whether to ski tournaments or not.

How about a sight tube that can be reasonably accessible?

Mastercraft does seem to be gas gauge challenged.

I got humbled today and I've been through a course thousands of times

Thanks @Andre! Anytime I can watch skiing when I'm at work, it's a good thing.

Lots of good discussions on here, look around and be prepared to be overwhelmed.

Have heard/seen that before but I love Masterline products. If you waited 4 years, 1 month shouldn't be a problem (sorry, couldn't help it). I just get a new rope and handle each year from them and they'd probably last at least 2 years or more. Great products. The high end rope can be used right out of the bag and you'll barely feel any stretch.

Our water gets to 95+ in the middle of the summer, when we ski a lot you either might want tape or liners and I hated wearing liners. I went to a fatter handle to disperse the wear on my hands. I prefer a 1.125" which feels a little big until it gets some wear on it.
I don't have big hands (wear extra small gloves in most brands). I'm with @greghayes, less blistering. My current brand new handle is a 1.09" as my 1 year old 1.125 handle needs restringing. Smaller handles make my hands hurt more.

Looks like a very solid 3.5...by they old rules, I'm guessing a 3.95

Reading a couple of these, I'm reminded of an instance in probably my 3rd tournament ever and first at our lake. This guy I knew from skiing with him some in public water was probably a deep 32 off skier, starts at 22, runs his first pass, his second pass, his third pass, his fourth pass and his fifth pass, I thinking "Wow! Kenny just ran 38 off and it looked just like his opener"...they never shortened, he ran 22 off five times before anybody caught on. Don't ask me how that happened.

I've done it before, at the end of a long day in the boat sheet happens.

Since you're asking the question here...Deep Water Start, Rear Toe Kicker, Fruit Loop, Stack, Hard Shell Boot, Carbon Fiber Tool, Micrometer, Connected, Out The Front....so much to work with on this site

Wow! I did not see that coming.

Some big scores!

Very interesting from a skiing perspective but also from a non skiing perspective. Great podcast @Luzz and @MarcusBrown.

We currently have the 6.2 and it is easily the most powerful ski boat I have ever driven or skied behind.

@John Brooks may know

I don't think you can swing a cat by the tail and not hit a lake in Central Florida.

Looks like mowing the grass isn't a choice.
