I understand the top 8 OM & OW will ski head to head today. What about MM and or the Legends? Will they ski head to head or are they done?

I heard the Legends were at 35 mph. Curious if that is a pure 35 mph or if it is 56kph=34.8 mph or 57 kph=35.4 mph.

  2. If you are injured skiing in a tournament then you should file a medical claim with USA Waterski. It should pay any out of pocket for the co-pay or meeting your deductible.

If you were injured skiing behind your own boat then file a claim with your boat insurance company. You will find the Medical coverage is usually up to $5,000 and included on most policies. My Boat US policy covers $5,000 for non-family and $25,000 for family medical. Boat US is fantastic.

  3. Incrementally moved the from binding from -1.5 up to 0 and Strada is working better after each change. Looser cuff helps. Increased release tension from A to almost B after a rag-doll triple tumble at 2nd wake.

Ordered a new A2 and will start over this weekend with a new setup. Want to ditch the EXO adapter plate and go straight to the ski inserts.

  4. @ShaneH Are you are still on a Strada w/ HO EXO bindings? If so, can you share your binding location and fin setup?

Replaced Radar Vectors with a new pair of the 2012 EXO Forms. Ski is a 66" Strada. Front boot was 29" (measured to very back of boot not the sole) and that puts it at -2 on the EXO Frame.

Today we will move bindings forward. Yesterday's maiden set ended with a tail-rider thru gates and a big fall at 1 ball. Nice to know the release mechanism works.

Front will be -1.5, Rear binding is mounted with the toe touching front binding's heel.

    Thanks,

    Jay

  5. I would not go to the effort of draining the tank before changing the filter.

What boat make & model? If you are draining the tank, make sure and remove the anti-siphon valve from out-line on fuel tank and de-gunk it with carb & choke cleaner.

  6. @Bogan This is email I rec'd from Goode in response to fading and repair:

The material used by Goode and Overton's should be pretty similar so the fading should be the same. The Goode buoy domes can be turned inside out so that you could use both the inside and outside of the dome if there is any fading.

The replacement cost for a single dome would be $20.

I bought the buoys that were listed on SIA.
