  1. I tried one a couple years ago, was too stiff...…..sent it back. The best suit I've found is the BlackTech Skin, which I believe is actually a triathlon suit. I've worn it in 43 degree water. My hands were frozen, but my body was fine.

I've also tried wearing a neo top, with the arms cut off, over my suit. That helps keep water from getting in the zipper and seems warmer.

  2. @raynard_io Regarding your mindset question, these are the books that I would say have had the biggest direct impact on my skiing.

What to Say When you Talk to Yourself by Shad Helmstetter

    Outliers by Malcom Gladwell

The Inner Game of Tennis by W. Timothy Gallwey

Burn Your Goals by Joshua Medcalf and Jamie Gilbert

Chop Wood Carry Water by Joshua Medcalf

Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin

    Toughness by Jay Bilas

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

  3. That kid is an animal.....and skied his tail off to win that trophy! I can't remember how many matchups he went through, but it was at least 4 or 5, and that was after skiing 2 rounds. He crushed us old guys!

The Broho gang really know how to make tournament skiing fun. And when the event was done they were all over my promo boat with rags, wax, and interior cleaner.

  4. Hey Justin, when I swapped my 03 SN over to ZO a number of my gauges didn't work either. I had to move a few of the wires around within the plugs that connected to gateway box. It's been so long ago I can't remember which wires had to be moved, but the Inboard Solutions guys helped me figure it out and eventually I was able to get them all working again.
  5. My wife and I have skied in our 2mm titanium Camaros down to 43 degree water a couple times. Its not terrible, but I was ready to get out after 5 or 6 passes. We have a hot tube about 30 feet from the lake, so that makes it more bearable too. We picked up a couple of the 3mm suits to try this winter. They advertise them as a semi dry suit and they seem really flexible......we'll see?

  6. I just picked up one of the new Blacktech Skin 1.5 tops. It's amazingly warm and stretchy, just like everything else they make. I also bought one of their Titanium 3mm full suits but won't get to try it for a couple months. I'll report back if someone is interested.
  7. yes, it was surveyed by a rated technical controller and found to be record capable. His comment was, "this is one of the most accurate courses I've ever surveyed". As I mentioned before, my boat is the only one out of 5 or 6 that does this. my previous boat was mapped once and was perfect until I sold it 3 years later. crazy, I know! I've been racking my brain for 2 years trying to figure it out.
