I may have a used Strada to buy locally, slightly used about 20 sets. Is a 67 ok,borderline or plain too small for me? 6'2",193 #,34 mph,32 off. What's a good price ? TIA Andre
Thanks to all for the replies.I know i want a new stick but just can't get my mind to justify another 1200$ for skiing... And there's that new guy on the lake talking about selling his 09 196 with the 409 engine.../vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-money-mouth.gif/vanillaforum/js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-yell.gif
I'm on a 07 Nomad RC.Bought it new in early 07 and average about 150 sets a year (in a 150 day season here). So my ski got at least 500 sets of 6-8 passes of use. Is my ski finish or the loss of performance won't affect this Wally(34 mph 28-32 off)? Thanks!!! Horton Don't know why my user name shows like this. Can you edit my username to Andre. TIA.
Thanks! Just checked underwater and you guys are right .A fixed plate but not a real hydra gate. Guess it was my skiing position... Edit:Seems to be call hydrO gate, sorry!
The Assault drysuit is 99.9% dry.Only a couples of drops got in by the wrist and ankles tight neoprene. Very comfortable.Still asking myself why i didn't get one years ago... On a side note,i'm TOTALLY out of shape and hurting a bit this morning but nothing Naproxen can't take care of!
Thanks guys! There is only a neck seal on the O'Neill Assault,no wrist or legs seals, which i didn't know about, only the tightness of the neoprene will keep water out.I hope! The tight neoprene bottom part just look like a regular wetsuit but thicker.Doesn't look like it's 100% dry...We'll see in the afternoon.Just got some gas and the battery is charging!!!l
Just got my O'Neill Assault drysuit and will try it today. Anything i should know about before putting it for the first time?Seals, zipper? Should i wear my vest inside? Thanks! (Water is already 55,so i feel ashame of putting a drysuit!)
I'm about to pull the trigger on an O'Neill Assault. Just wanted to know if the bottom part is 100% is dry or a very thick neoprene? Can you still put a pair of thermal underwear underneat? I'M 6'2" 195 and going for the x-large.Good sizing? Thanks
Have the same boat,no powerslot. I went with an ACME 541 and never looked back.Best holeshot on the lake and a smaller rooster tail that with the factory OJ. Already had the smallest wake title...
Thanks Mike! I move my rubber one hole back on my rtp.You like it more on your toes? Shoot me a pix andrelamarre@msn.com Matt Reflex site didn't work for me.Does the rtp that you posted uses a liner?
Thanks for the replies guys! I may be changing the front too and will see what rtp is available from where i will get my next front binding. (Thinking of going front Reflex with rtp...)
For old school guys like me who are using a rtp, which one you give you the best control over your ski? I need a new one and has been looking at the Radar rtp.Anyone using one? Been on an adjustable Kidder for years.I always modify mines so that the rubber sits more on my ankle then my toes. Am i the last one that can't adapt to double boots?
