@gavski if you can fit a 4 buoy course you should be able to fit an overlapping 8 buoy and get 6 in each direction. How long is the lake?

Webcast was amazing. Loved the Olympian commentators. I think getting them on tour with the current host of many other webcast would be a great benefit. Enjoyed the less screaming, less strange phrases, and less inaccurate facts was a nice change of pace.

@sheskis7 you need to contact the Chief Judge as well. If your grandson was allowed to ski in the event and was eligible then his score should be added to the score book and ranking list. It can be done after the fact as an update. If you need to go to your region EVP. If the scorer did not do any paper documentation as back up while scoring that is a large oversight especially if a skier was on the water who had not been added to the computer yet.

It’s only needed if your participate in events.

People talk about the feeling of stretch off the buoy a lot but forget about rebound rate off the 2nd wake which in my opinion is just as important. There are a lot of people who know way more than I do about ropes so hopefully they chime in.

@Horton Danisheuskaya is from Belarus. Currently IWWF has a ban on them competing in any sanction record R/L events unless something has changed I do not know about. So also confused about how she posted scores at Pickos.

I don't know who talked me into it but I will be there and hopefully will get to take more of @Horton 's money this year! Though I will settle to watch him Rico a 38 on the magic waters of Whitestone Lakes!

@Horton it's no longer a Masters qualifier as well and for what it is worth it is not a ProTour related event.

I would assume it costs well over 4k USD for a skier to go. A long way, a lot of money, over a week away from home and it's early in the year. Entry in full was due December 31st. The world had a different landscape at that time than it does now. Hopefully the event will attract all the heavy hitters again next year.

We were all sad to hear that the Worlds were canceled, but we all can agree it was the right decision. I was to serve as team manager for this year.

2020 Worlds were supposed to take place in Ukraine and were cancelled due to covid. They re-awarded 2024 to Ukraine, but we can all assume that event may be moved as well depending on how things transpire in the region. They are looking for alternative sites for University Worlds for this year if any one is interested in hosting shoot me a message and I can get you in contact with the right folks.
