Hey Everyone, I just received some RS-1 boots and a sequence plate I purchased used. I am wondering if someone could post a few pics of the top of a mounted sequence plate? I have 6 mounting screws, 4 plastic washers, 4 black countersunk washers, 4 silver spacers and the black heal piece with 4 holes. I am just not 100% sure of where all of these are suppose to go. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance

Horton, isn't the RS-1 the same mold as the MPD? Is it just the core you don't like with RS-1?

Ok, I live in Chilliwack BC. I am 38 and have been skiing since I was 6. I am married with two daughters 9 and 7. I grew up on Mara lake in the Shuswap of British Columbia. My parents owned a campground from 79-93. Spent my summers on the water as we had access to both the lake and river. Since we did not have access to a course I mostly free skied and then moved into barefooting in the late 80's. Ran a parasailing operation in ' 89 with our malibu skier. In the 90's it was all about wakeboarding behind our Ski Brendella. After University and my parents selling the campground I haven't spent as much time on the water. Last spring I purchased a 1980 Ski Nautique after seeing a Ski Boat/RV advertisement saying "You only have 18 summers with your kids. How many do you have left???"Â Got both my girls up on skis last summer and looking forward to them progressing and having the fun and memories I have. I am now concentrating on slalom skiing again and looking to learn the course to be able to measure my improvement. Love the site and all the great info provided. Â I should also add I am looking to meet up with anyone in the area to do some slalom skiing.

What is the expected life expectancy of the liners? I realize it will of course depend on how much you are skiing but a rough estimate?

Hey,  Couple questions regarding the rs1 binding. 1. I have a size 7 foot. Can I get a size 8 (as that is the smallest) to work or in your opinion will it be to big? I guess I am asking do they fit true to size or maybe a little small? 2.When purchasing the rs1 binding does it come with a mounting plate or does it normally need to be purchased seperately? Thanks

Is there anywhere online that gives a history of the waterski industry? Like who were the first manufacturers, who started what companies, left and then started what new company? For example Herb O'brien starts O'brien Skis in 19?? then moves on (we have all heard stories why?) to form H.O. and then most recently formed Radar. Looking for similar history on all the major brands, Connely, Kidder (D3), Jobe, EP ect...
