  1. barefooting on the boom, early morning lots of mist, didn't see the duck till it was to late and as i tried to jump over it the duck decided to take off.
  2. already running my front boot one forward, but hopefully adjusting the fin will make the difference
  3. Thanks i will try out Rini's settings because i am definitely wheeling more than normal
  4. what do you find different to rossi's settings?
  5. JWR i wouldnt say you have to have 2 ski's to learn, can your daughter slalom? I knew how to slalom and picked up tricking pretty quickly most of the young kids i know who trick only started on 1.
  6. DrShred how tall are you, how much you way?
  7. in south africa, so to go some where else is out of the question.
  8. OK thanks for the advice, now the question is Vice vs Senate C, do i take the Senate C as its the 55km/h ski?
  9. In the long run the 68" Vice would probably be better than the 69" Senate C due to the fact the Smaller Vice will turn quicker? He is a senior men skier so would the Senate C be a better option because its made for 55km/h?
  10. he finds that on the 67" D3 that he currently rides the ski seems to stall out of the turn, though weather this because of his skiing or because of the ski being to small im not to sure.
  11. so would you say he should go on a 67 senate c or would he be better off on a 68" vice
  12. Got a friend who is thinking of changing from an 05 67.5" D3 x5 to a 2011 Radar Senate C 69". He is 200 pounds, quite tall would say 6ft3(will check). He runs 52km/h(32.5mph) regularly and has run 34mph on a good day. Do you guys think it will be worth changing ski? Is this the right ski for him?
  13. i'm running Rossi's numbers and have noticed some tip rise, any one noticed less rise from Rini's numbers? Got a comp in 2 weeks so a bit nervous to start playing with the fin now.
  14. Got a friend interested in this ski? Any opinions on it? She is currently on a z7 diamond Runs 22off @ 34mph
  15. The strada's are sick! Have skied on Animals basically since i started running the course till now getting a couple @ 35 off. These feel soo comfy. I have a few questions 1) If my back heel is lifting does this mean i should add a thicker sole? The laces are pretty tight when this happens, though i believe i shouldn't tighten them that much. 2) What is stock?? I have each binding set up in the middle of the plate and am running the back plate stock and the front plate one forward of stock. I feel im on the back alot.My animals used to both be set up stock with the back boot angled right. @chuck? What is the correct stock distance for the back boot? I feel that the back boot is turned in to the left to much, i am left foot forward. I have shifted the plate over to try get the binding to point towards the right but it doesn't feel right. 3) Should i wet my feet and bindings before putting em on? Heard some one say wear socks. Onside turns are feel great but my off side turns feeling worse than usual. Took me 3 sets to get close to where i was before. Got 4 on 32off so just below my average practice score. My offside it feels that i am not getting any angle out the turn and the ski doesnt want to complete the turn.
  16. Got my Strada Boots today :) :) any one got any tips for trying them out/mounting them.
  17. I see the Vice is made for 34mph. I currently ski into 35off @ 36mph. I am 18 so its a looong time till i start skiing at 34mph. So would the Strada be a better bet than the vice for me?
  18. sweet, looking forward to trying them out
  19. The bindings that i am demoing are with the specific plates. So can i just swap the bindings around to be lff than?
  20. Are the Strada's a specifically left or right foot forward? Is there a difference between the back and the front boot?
  21. what do the strada boots feel like compared to the HO animals, trying them out next weekend.
  22. Comprendo :) haha i know, going for some coaching now in December, i understand that its my style but the ski can help. Looking forward to giving it a bash.
  23. sorry ts getting the ski through some one i know :), which ski you rate will help me ski bit wider on the offside?
