  1. Deal !! I wear an XL - one white and one black. Geaux Tigahs!!!
  2. How about a BOS t-shirt to the winner? Yes, the current line is -10.
  3. I'm game!! And, the loss to Iowa was in 2003 (Capital One Bowl) - Saban's last game before going to the Dolphins - I was there and remember that play. OK, The Tigahs -10. We just need to figure out the wager.
  4. Well, I was the good soldier and completed my MVR review. I passed and good for another 2 years assuming I stay away from Shane Hill.
  5. I am cautiously optimistic that change is coming. With the influx of new staff and a fresh perspective, I believe discussions can begin that will positively impact the organization. This is preferable over AWSA moving away from the larger organization and reinventing the wheel elsewhere. The January board meetings should be lively!!
  6. @teammalibu - it must have been the boat!!
  7. Olde oaks gets a new boat, the Cottonwood crew will crash that party!!!
  8. We have several handles, ropes and gloves left in stock that we need to move - if you are looking for something for next season or for Christmas, shoot me an e-mail and let me know what you are looking for - special closeout to Ballers...... jdarwin@lakesatcottonwood.com
  9. Congrats! My daughter was a part of 3 of those championships and it was a fantastic experience for her - nice to see the tradition continues.
  10. Drove / skied the boat last night. Very impressed. Tracks SO much better than earlier versions of this model. Put 50lbs in the nose and it was perfect. What I liked most is I always knew where the skier was - never lost connection. That's important. The boat skis awesome. It seemed to wait on me at the buoy and allow me to hook up nicely before shooting me across. Can't wait to get some tourney scores behind it!
  11. In September, I moved from a Mid Ride to the 6.1 - 66". I'm 195-200 and it does not feel small. Very similar to my Mid Ride but turns off-side better and is quicker across course. Like my Mid, it is very stable and allows me to make some mistakes without punishing me. The biggest difference is when I do make a mistake, the 6.1 gets me back in the pass quicker.
  12. It was awesome to witness - congrats again, Trent. Well deserved.
  13. Thanks to all the skiers and officials @klindy and @skidawg for sure. Regina tying the world record 3@41 was very cool to witness. But, there were so many other great scores - too many to count. Events are truly a reflection of the people who are there - that's why Cottonwood tournaments are so fun!
  14. @AB - I think I am on the bubble so 210 to 220 would match the 67.5". Andy recommended the 67.5" for me but since I was on a 66" Mid, we decided to go with the 66". So far, so good. More to come.
  15. Skied the 6.1 for the first time last night. I'm 6'2" / 200 lbs on a 66". Felt right at home coming off a Mid Ride. Feels like my Mid Ride on steroids. Stock settings. Ski turns very well on both sides and generates and maintains terrific angle without much input. I quickly learned not to over ski it - just let it do its thing. The most telling event was a bad 4 ball turn at 35 and I simply layed the ski over and was early to 5. Impressive! I think Andy has a winner with this ski. I'm pretty back foot (many on here can attest to that!) and I had no issues with the ski's performance.
  16. Finally ran a 38 - thankfully did it in a tournament. A 39 score was a long term (18 year) goal. May never happen again!
  17. Great skiing, buddy - it's well deserved. I was glad to be on the starting dock for M4 when you skied back - you about broke my back with that hug!!
  18. Alvin - I will check it out -
  19. Arrived Sunday for Monday board meeting - hanging out all week awaiting M4 on Saturday.
  20. @ShaneH - I will be coming down when you get it!!
  21. According to their FB page, it will debut to the world tomorrow - no secret there.
  22. Some teaser shots - and Marcus skiing behind the new boat.
  23. Hey, give the boat driver some love - I had to sit in the hot sun waiting this out!! @ShaneH - at least you were in the water! Oh, and overturning 1 ball at 32-off is what caused you to fall - not the wait!!!
  24. Folks are knocking them down today - great skiing OB!!! Glad you decided to drop in today.
