  1. This is why there are no poor lawyers…………...
  2. ShaneH I love your idea maybe thats why I use a 10 foot pole for the kids instead of a tower…I had not thought of using it as a pole for the ladies to dance with - NICE... There is a very small market for the boat companies to make money in slalom, jump, and trick compared to wakeboarding with all of the bling (huge profits, do board racks really cost that much to make?) it sucks but it is reality.
  3. Like it or not the people on this forum are not the ones keeping the boat companies in business. It is wally wakeboarder and his 90K+ boat with the bling…. Go to any public lake and you will always see that guy with the 18 inch rims on his SUV and boat trailer….his boat will be rad man with HUGE wake. Thanks to those guys we can still have a slalom boat or three to pick from, they keep the wheels at the factories turning. Look at how many wake board boats they all make compared to ski boats. Sad but true.
  4. Shane H, How is it possible to have the same wake if the engine is way in the back vs midship? The boat has to sit lower in the water resulting in larger wakes, good for wakeboard bad for bouy counts. I am just trying to understand how this could work in the sport 200? Thanks, Mike
  5. It is Johns hard work that keep this forum the best one there is, thanks for all of the hard work.
  6. amen to what Ed said….. v-drives = bad wakes and sore ankles
  7. I have a Malibu Sportster LX with the wedge and it works perfect for what you are looking for the open bow is nice and the wake is nice and flat. I have even surfed behind it..
  8. Bring on the WWE….Look at what they did for monster trucks!!
  9. You guys are the best, please give us winter locked skiers more to watch…..
  10. What about the effect of temperature in regards to water clarity? That would have a direct effect on how the water would feel…dirty = slow clear = fast We had to just put another layer of h2o on our backyard rink this am so all of my water is frozen:-(
  11. Happy Birthday we should all eat lots of Cake!
  12. I tried the new one and like the old one better but I will feed the addiction no matter what the forum looks like…….
  13. Nice Video, if the water is not frozen….. it should be skied.
  14. Try not to fall down while you are drinking real beer….. I thought it was a great article and I know how you like to give the front page as much press as possible.
  15. Thanks to Horton for the latest info on the front page! (yes some of us actually go and look on there) Our Canadian skiers deserve a big high five!! Mike
  16. What is with the gunsite thing on the WSF thread? That looks like my five year old installed it on that boat.....
  17. Ball of spray is a classic example of what a web forum should be: well organized, well run, looks great and is easy to use. There are other search engines on the web but I bet most people use google for the reasons I stated before. I look at the other waterski sites the same way, I will go there but mostly to look at a train wreck. Mike
  18. A bass fisherman would only read it for the articles............
  19. Amen to boarditup, the sport is confusing enough to outsiders with speeds/line length/re rides you name it let alone the actual rule book. It almost makes cricket easy to understand...........
  20. I meant to ask on my previous post, how is your water clarity?
  21. TW, Beautiful site, I bet it is amazing in the fall when the leaves turn....
  22. Deke is 100 percent right, Marco's friend paid several thousand dollars for the latest and greatest boat and it is not working PERIOD. If that dealer has any customer service at all he should be hooking them up with a demo boat and making the situation right! If not tell the salesman to poke the 200 you know where... I bet he was all talk when the deal was made where are they now? Marco I am sorry that your friends new boat experence has sucked so far...
  23. He should trailer it back to the dealer and demand a different boat, if he is having those kind of issues...... sent it back!!!!!
  24. Thats right - its worth the risk when you are at the boarder after driving for two days and the guard is telling you to go into the little room at the back so they can go over every piece of paper work and compare it to the market price. I work with someone that tried it on a truck thinking they would not notice, he was very wrong. The Canadian boarder guards have you by the short ones and guess what? They have all of the power to hold you up. Its like not taking a taxi when your loaded and then having to blow for the police..... how much would you pay at that point to cab home? Only a fool would try this scam.
