  1. All levels of skiing are great for the sport!! One of the best events of the year is the Pro Am that Greg Badal puts on every year. Its awesome and great for the sport when all levels of skiers can compete at the same event and hang out with the Pros. Its all good stuff!!!! All you guys whining are just jealous!
  2. I am on the 65.25 but I have been testing the 66 and the 66.75 as well. The 66 is set up identical other than my bindings are 1/16 ahead.
  3. my feet are size 9 but it doesn't matter if your feet are bigger I have 200 lb guys with med and large boots that we cut the front toe off the rear boot and put the rear boot as close as possible to get the rear boot about 17 to 17.25 from the tail.
  4. Horton Chad uses a Ventral and Nick skis 58 K!!!! Try 2.495 6.775 .707 9.5 wing and boots 28.75 and set the rear boot at 17.25. The rear boot placement is important.
  5. OB your rear boot should be about 17.0 to 17 .25 from the tail of the ski.
  6. The Nano one XT will feel like it is a lot of work if it is not set up properly. Boot placement is the key.....
  7. The Nano One XT has a very narrow tail and if your rear boot is to far back you will rock back onto the tail and feel unbalanced on the ski. You need to keep the front boot back to at least 28.75 and in some cases 28.58 to maintain speed and to help the ski not stick in the turns. At the same time you need the rear boot about 17.1/8 to 17.25 so you don't get to tail heavy. In other words feet closer together works better on this ski.... Hope this helps.
  8. Alberto I would say your front boot is to far back that's why your offside is not initiating as well. Try 28.75 front 17.25 rear and fin 2.495 .707 6.775 with caliper flat on fin wing 9.5
  9. Horton What settings are you using on the fin and where are your boots front and rear?
  10. We have a record capable course in our lake that flucuates 15 feet every year and it is perfect all the time Call me 604 768 3800
  11. Do it like we do in Canada it is very simple. I ski MM or my age division all year (34mph) but just before Nationals I train at 36 then I compete in Mens 2 and or open. I can opt up to a harder division, why not who would care if some old guy wants to compete against the best. It is not hurting anyone and it lets the old guys ski 36 if they want to with the same scoring as open????
  12. I would suggest moving the rear boot back 1/8 for better onside turn
  13. for the 66 i would start at 29 1/4 inches on the binding 17,5/8 on the rear. Fin 6.815 long 2.445 deep .720 tail
  14. Good comments guys but from my experience with the Nano it is the best ski for intemediate to advanced level skiers. It makes your offside turn easier and allows you to get more angle. it also lets the ski come under the line quicker on both sides. It feels like you can ski the course earlier overall. Yes I agree if a person is more or less a beginner it is not worth the expense but anyone skiing in the course I think it will help. The 9960 or the Fire are both a great second choice.
  15. I would go with the regular unless you are a very aggressive skier and on the heavier side for the ski size.
  16. The ski is very stable and does not wobble at all! Chad said it well!
  17. jjsson I you are no more than 185 then yes the 65 Mid Nano is great!
  18. My front boot is 28.75 not 29.75 Dave Miller
  19. Contact ehyan Caldwell he has a almost new 65 Mide ride 9900 he bought at the end of the season last year. It is the same flex and Rocker as the ski I won the Big Dawg on. Med flex with about 1.62 rocker. Sweet ski Ehyan 1 778 552 2377
  20. I have to agree with Jeff Milford There are many skiers out there that are injured or just have continual back pain and can not ski or compete with out the P Vest. If we dont allow the vest in tournaments we will loose even more skiers in a sport that is already shrinking. I have a P Vest and use it periodically when I really want to ski a lot of sets. It enables me to train more with less fatigue I do not have a back injury so to speak but at times I just get worn out. That is when I like to put on the P Vest. I compete against guys who use the P Vest and it would be pretty stupid of me to say they have an advantage. (I can put mine on any time I want and so can anyone else) If the P Vest helps those with pain to ski I am all for it, if it gives them an advantage and they start smokin me i guess i better put on my P Vest as well!!!!  Dave Miller
  21. Goode Mid Ride I have never riden a ski that performs as well as the Goode Mid Ride. To make it short it gets more angle, gets you earlier to the ball and it is less work. Incredible ski Dave Miller
