  1. I was looking for a trailer for a '66 Century Resorter and the Nautique popped up on craigslist for $800. The boat didn't have a motor in it and the bottom is peppered with blisters but I thought it would make for the perfect island ornament at the far end of the lake. I can't remember the year I will have to look but 2 people have asked if it's a '77 so it may be. I was able to push the boat onto the barge with pipes underneath. Getting it on the island was uphill so it took a little more effort but wasn't too bad.
  2. Not exactly what I expected to see when I googled stripper butt. Never the less MB is spot on to low back pain from water skiing. I have been fighting it for years and the hip flexors are a big part of it. So many muscles attach to the pelvis which are part of that low back and when the pelvis is out of proper alignment it curves the lumbar which cause the problem. I really liked the visual with the foam roller about when the spine is already out of proper alignment and the load causes pain. Reminds of stepping off a curb or in a pot hole and feeling like I just got shocked right in the low back.

    Thanks Marcus

  3. Thanks Leon but it sounds pretty rough and I am not looking for a project. I like the ZX-1 cause it really performed well. I like a lot of boats but the Infinity can be had for quite a bit less than one of the big three. I have a SN 200 at the lake and it's great for skiing but it's a club boat so I can't take it off the reservation. An older nautique or malibu or MC cost a lot more and to be honest I don't think is a better boat.

Man if MC would have built the ZX-1 like originally planned it would have dominated.

  4. For anyone that is interested in skiing with Steve Schnitzer he will be @ Warman Lake Wednesday and Thursday September 8th and 9th.

Wednesday is full up but some spots are available Thursday am.  Cost is $60.00 per set.  If anyone is interested please contact Matt McCuddy @ 503-819-0700.
