  1. I have the windshield mount, but I would switch to the in-dash if that's what you have?
  2. How about Lucky....after a former World Champion, Hall of Famer and one of the best slalom skiers of all time!
  3. Had one knee done in March of 2014 and was waterskiing in June. Had the second knee done in March of 2015 and was waterskiing in June and snow skied approx. 60 days last season. Even did a little beer-league racing. Make sure you get a good doctor who has a lot of experience with knee replacements and understands what your goals are. I was lucky enough to find one that is a slalom skier himself and could relate to the sport. His comment before I had the first one done was - if I could ski before, I should be able to ski after. You have to put the time in and do all the PT, but after having them both done, I have to say that he gave me my life back!
  4. Bulldog - if you're problem is pronation (as is mine) you might want to look at this website: www.footfoundation.com Eric Ward is a snow skier who's product addresses this specifically. -
  5. I had a total knee replacement at the end of March and was skiing again by the end of June. My doctor - Tom King (ironically) at Portsmouth Regional Hospital, Portsmouth, NH is a slalom skier himself and said there wouldn't be a problem with skiing after doing the proper PT. He gave me the green light to go after only 12 weeks. I took it easy at first, but the knee feels great and the skiing doesn't seem to bother it at all. I would highly recommend Dr. King and his staff at PRH. They know knees and they know water skiing.
