I think the best we can hope for is the TWBC keeps getting better and they continue to broadcast these events.
I think an improvement and something that would keep the "down" time to a minimum is "get to know you" segments with the skiers. Call it long form interviews about their daily life. For example Regina balancing skiing and owning a business. Vennesa and Whitney about being a parent and how it affects training. Brooke about going to school and its advantages and disadvantages when competing in pro events, etc. In individual sports the audience wants to get to know the participants. It could be a 45 second intro prior to the first pass, and then another 30 second inbetween. Sprinkle in technique thoughts or favorite places to ski. Talk about their coaching or training routines. People root for people they find compelling. At a minimum the athletes should be getting the announcers written material to use so we can get to know them better.

I moved from animals 10 years ago to radar strada at the time now carbitex vapor and i thought it was smooth transition. I am a rtp guy.

What else could be done with the money if we don’t do a new site. I have no issues as a end user of the site so I am not sure what we are trying to accomplish.

Just heard on tv. Longtime NHL coach mike Babcock says he is a big water skier.

@hammerski it will be interesting. My guess is it will make drivers who care better and those weren’t good drivers but thought they were, be not good in a different way.

@MichaelGoodman that is what I would have thought. But according to the map on the mass Dot website https://macors.massdot.state.ma.us/SBC —Closest one is in Westboro. Any info on other networks you are referring to would be helpful.

This gets more interesting for me if I can just use the Massachusetts rtk. However it looks like the closest station is 21 miles away. Is that doable?

@JetMcCoy Usawaterski should be handing those pamphlets out with every ski, boat, vest and insurance. Make a deal with @perfski and other online shops and have them include in every package that goes out.

I think this falls into, "be careful what you ask for" I love the current TWBC broadcasts - they are meant for me/us(Hard core ski enthusiasts). In the other thread we keep asking for more and more technical stuff (pull strength, ZO setting, boat path), the viewing public probably does not care about any of that. They want competition, drama, a story if you will.
So producing a show for the masses is not going to please this audience, we are getting what we want now thanks to the TWBC team and thanks to them for that.

Maybe we should think of this like golf's Senior Tour. At 50 Phil Mickelson played an event the week after he competed on the regular tour. It has been a right of passage for the "young" buck to come in and dominate for a few years and then fade. Raise the age and let anyone above that age in.

I logged a couple of sets, it seems to record them but does not advance the after "log set" but does record it when I leave. Is this intentional?

The saturn ring on the Walley is to show the correct height in the water. It is a design feature. We have been using them for 5 years and love them on our public lake.

It was a great webcast, I agree with most everything said here. One suggestion if possible would be to break up the webcast or atleast the replays into the divisions/grouped so you could quickly find MM or OM or M5 easily.

I found the Best strategy on my old response lx is to try a wire to the old cable when taking it out from the rudder to the helm and then Use the wire to guide the new cable through.

I know it is time for a new handle when the rubber starts to get indentations in it from my hands and my hands start hurting at the callous(blister) points. For me that is once a year skiing 3-4 sets a week, 8 months a year. Handle and rope get replaced at the same time.

@scoke. You need to click on the magnifying glass to get to the registration status not on the event. Took me a coupe to figure that change out.

Happened to me when I went from my well worn old one to the stiffer newer ones. Warm it up in the sun and work it left to right to loosen it up somewhat
