  1. @wish yes it needs to be dry. So although not necessary to drill to stop the cracking you could drill to get the water out. I had this problem on a MC and I just removed the hole thing from the boat, fiberglass can messy and the prep work will require sanding to make sure you have a good rough surface for adhesion of the patch repair. You do not want it to leak. Just remember if its leaking water, it is also leaking exhaust gasses.

Without getting into all the details and weights of fiberglass cloth, just patch it with a ""chopped strain" piece and go well beyond the area of the crack. Once that dries sand it lightly to knock down the pokies and reapply more resin and cloth if needed.

  2. Who has sacrificed there time and gas money to bring others to the love of watersports this summer. I got 6 kids under the age of 12 up on skis this year and 4 adults. I guess its not true altruism because I am expecting them cultivate that seed and let it grow in them until someday they do the same. Grow The Sport !

All these young one skied on the same day this was their first of many last summer.

"My problem was snapping the ski around the ball, stalling and then rocketing across the wakes. All well and good if you're in your 20s. I'm not. My goal became to hunt down a ski that would not let me do this inefficient and damaging ski style"

As I grow in age and hopefully wisdom every year I have begun to look for equipment and technique that allows me to ski smarter and not harder. I begin to tweak little things that allows me to keep skiing as much as I want on and off the water (snow). Find the product that works for you now if you need to cheat it maybe its not whats best.

  4. First of all hope your wife is doing better and recovering,

    second combat tennis is rough,

third I am an EMT in Utah and spend a good part of my winter and summer practicing it. Yes practice is what we all do and practice makes perfect. What ever you can do to train and prepare yourself for an emergency situation is a plus. You never know when you will need it. Keep a good first aid kit handy and if you know what your doing get yourself a trauma kit. "BE PREPARED" !!!!

The person you help or save may be a loved one or close friend.

Have a good winter and ski FAST where ever it may be.
